It's amazing how things can change. While Dr. Jim McClintock has always had an interest in the outdoors, he could've just as easily have been an English professor and not the Endowed University Professor of Polar and Marine Biology he is today at UAB. But, as he'll share, his career took a different path that ties in with the absolute awe of Antarctica.
