The Gospel Briefing: Kids Edition

Backpack the bear wins Fat Bear Week after healing from a bad leg injury, and monarch butterflies fly thousands of miles on a route they've never learned. Kids discover that God pays attention to every detail, from a bear's dinner to a butterfly's flight path. Replacement story used for the second segment (creation wonder) since today's other news headlines were not kid-appropriate.

Show Notes

Today, kids meet Backpack, the champion of Fat Bear Week at Katmai National Park in Alaska, who healed from a serious leg injury to become this year's winner! Then we soar into the sky to learn how monarch butterflies fly thousands of miles to Mexico without ever being taught the way. Today's verse, Genesis 1:31, reminds us that God saw everything He made and called it very good — and that includes you.
