सर्वः सर्वमपि कर्तुं सज्जः स्यात्

ईश्वरचन्द्रविद्यासागरः समयपालने अतीव अनुशासितः अन्यस्मादपि तदेव अपेक्षते स्म । सः कस्याश्चित् सभायाः अध्यक्षत्वेन आहूतः सन् समयात् पूर्वमेव स्थानं प्राप्तवान् । सभास्थले आसन्दाः मलिनाः आसन् । स्वच्छताकर्मिणः नासन् इत्यतः सः त्वरया सम्मार्जनीं गृहीत्वा स्वयं स्वच्छताकार्यम् आरब्धवान् । एतद् दृष्ट्वा आयोजकाः लज्जिताः स्वच्छतायां संलग्नाः अभवन् । शीघ्रं सभास्थलं स्वच्छं जातम् । स्वस्य भाषणे, विद्यासागरवर्यः आत्मनिर्भरत्वस्य महत्त्वं प्रतिपादयन् अवदत् यत् कार्याणि निर्वर्तयितुं वयं अन्येषां प्रतीक्षां न कुर्याम, राष्ट्रं अपि आत्मनिर्भरं भवेत् । किमपि कार्यं क्षुद्रं वा महत् वा न भवति । प्रत्येकं जनः सर्वकार्यार्थं सर्वदा सज्जः भवेत् इति ।
