Today's epsiode how finding God's strength in the tragic loss of Mason Alexander, who was my son's best friend/ brother and my bonus son. This loss has affected everyone who knew him or not. Even though we are all hurting, how do we find strength and comfort during our pain? That only comes from God.
In spite of this great loss, we still find ourselves in the presence of the Lord. God is near the brokenhearted. Psalm 34:18.
Please keep Mason's mother, his family, my son and his friends in your prayers. This community is hurting, the football community is hurting. We can only get through this with God's help. I can't take their pain away, but God can. God is still good in spite of the pain that we are all going through.
