अहो! उदारता

रवीन्द्रनाथवर्येण यदा नोबेल्पुरस्कारः प्राप्तः तदा असङ्ख्याः जनाः तम् अभिनन्दितवन्तः । किन्तु कश्चन प्रतिवेशी तस्य अभिनन्दं न कृतवान् इति तस्य दुःखम् आसीत् । कदाचित् वायुविहारार्थं रवीन्द्रनाथवर्यः समुद्रतीरम् अगच्छत् । समुद्रे पतिताः सूर्यकिरणाः रमणीयतया शोभते स्म । अत्रान्तरे तस्य दृष्टिः एकस्मिन् गर्ते पतिता । सः अचिन्तयत् 'सूर्यकिरणाः प्रसारविषये गर्तसमुद्रादिभेदभावं न प्रदर्शयन्ति.......’ इति । सः स्वस्य दोषम् अवगत्य प्रतिवेशिनः गृहं गत्वा तस्य आशीर्वादं प्रार्थितवान् । एतेन नितरां लज्जितः प्रतिवेशी रवीन्द्रनाथवर्यं नोबेल्पुरस्कारप्राप्त्यर्थम् अभिनन्दितवान् ।

When Rabindranath Tagore received the Nobel Prize, countless people congratulated him, but one neighbor did not, which saddened him. Later, while strolling by the seashore, Tagore saw the sun’s rays shining equally on both the ocean and a pit. He reflected, “Sunlight makes no distinction between vast seas and small pits.” Realizing his own fault, he went to his neighbor’s house seeking blessings. Deeply ashamed, the neighbor then congratulated Tagore for his Nobel Prize.

सम्भाषणसन्देशः इति संस्कृतमासिकपत्रिका (https://sambhashanasandesha.in) । एतस्यां पत्रिकायां प्रकाशिताः लेखाः, कथाः, बालकथाः, वार्ताः इत्यादिकं सर्वम् अपि सरलसंस्कृतेन एव प्रकाश्यते । तत्रत्याः “बालमोदिनी”नामिकाः बालकथाः अत्र प्रसार्यन्ते । अतः अस्याः शृङ्खलायाः नाम अपि “बालमोदिनी” एव । लघु गात्रं, सरला भाषा च कथानां विशेषः । प्रत्येकं कथा काञ्चित् नीतिं बोधयति । बालकथाः आबालवृद्धं सर्वेषां प्रियाः । संस्कृतेन ताः श्रोतुम् उपलब्धाः भवन्तु इति एषः प्रयत्नः श्रोतृभ्यः अवश्यं रोचेत इति विश्वासः । संस्कृतक्षेत्रे संस्कृतेन पॉड्कास्ट् क्रियमाणाः एताः प्रप्रथमाः कथाः इति सगौरवम् उद्घोष्यते ।
