The Beginning

Welcome to Chozen’s Place. In this foundational broadcast, we embark on a journey through the entire Word of God from cover to cover, beginning right where God started: Genesis chapters 1 through 11.
Host Chozen shares a personal testimony about a decades-old desire to read Scripture completely from Genesis to Revelation, demonstrating that walking with God requires diving deep into His Word with diligence, hunger, and an open heart.
In this deep study of the opening chapters of Genesis, we unpack:
The Framework of Creation (Genesis 1:1–2, Hebrews 11:3): How God framed the worlds out of nothing, speaking form and order into what was once void and dark.
The Spirit and Will of God: Exploring the Hebrew meaning of the Spirit hovering over the deep and how God's will operates throughout Scripture.
"Let Us Make Man in Our Image" (Genesis 1:26): Examining the divine plurality, majesty, and triune nature of the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit working in perfect unison.
The First Promise of the Gospel: Tracing redemption immediately following the Fall and learning from Abel’s priority of giving God the firstfruits.
Noah and Faithfulness In and Out of Season: How Noah preached God's truth through obedience before a corrupt world.
The Tower of Babel and the Power of Unity (Genesis 11, Colossians 3:11): At Babel, God declared that nothing would be restrained from a united people. What happens when the body of Christ ceases dividing over politics, flesh, ethnicity, and denominations, and instead unites fully under the lordship of Jesus Christ?
Open your Bible and join us as we lay down man-made traditions to embrace the pure, life-giving truth of God's Word.
