Director Showdown

It’s the final bonus episode of the season as the boys watch ‘Super Mario Bros’! Friend of the podcast John Casares returns to discuss his pick in the new bonus episode competition ‘Director Showdown Roulette’. The guys talk about converting Mario into a film, some deep Mario lore, and possible ideas to successfully adapt video games to film (your welcome Hollywood). It’s an extra length episode, and unfortunately, the last one from us for a little bit (while we bank up episodes for next season amidst our increasingly busy lives).
Again, we thank you all for listening to our most popular season yet, and make sure to tell your friends about Director Showdown, rate, review, and subscribe wherever you listen to podcasts! We’ll see you guys soon!

What is Director Showdown?

Director Showdown is an idea that came about after months of intense arguments between Brent Carroll and Adam Daufen about which famous director was better: Spielberg or Kubrick? From those arguments, season one was created. Each new season pits two new directors against each other, and every other week Adam and Brent get together to make their case - sometimes with help from guests.
