**Spoilers: Portal 2** If you could live in any video game universe, which would you choose? Better yet, which would you actually be able to survive in? Marissa, Matt, and Sacco dive into the worlds they'd most like – and most hate – to be stuck in – and we have lots to argue about.
Video game worlds are generally beautifully crafted and fun to explore. But, are they liveable for a modern gamer to be plopped inside of without immediately dying? We also push the boundaries of the question itself: does it matter, for example, if we're the hero of the world? Does that change things? Are the rules of this virtual world being applied to real life, or are we being plopped directly in the game itself.
Marissa and Matt start off by admitting which beautifully crafted virtual worlds would be most horrific to live in (Matt is particularly disturbed by the idea of worlds without ice cream trucks). Each heathen discusses whether their favourite gaming franchise would be fun to explore or horrible in reality.
As we move on to discuss our actual choices, Sacco shocks everyone by choosing a dystopic underwater world as his most favourite place to live. Marissa and Matt argue vehemently about whether catchin' them all is really a desirable fantasy.
The episode dissolves into discussions about Pokèmon evolutions, cockfights, and an age-old question: is the cake a lie?
