This week we’re talking all about our new Pokémon LE, our first impressions after a few days with the game, and why catching Pokémon might be one of the most addictive features ever put into pinball.
• Our honest thoughts after 143 plays on Pokémon in just a few days
 • Why catching Pokémon feels completely different than traditional pinball goals
 • Ideas for future code updates, a Pokémon “Poké Hunter” mode, and even some Fallout pinball concepts
We also talk about finally bringing home our first LE, how much easier setting up games has become since our first machine, and why Pokémon already feels unlike anything else in pinball. From the addictive catching mechanic to thoughts on the future code updates, this might be the most excited we’ve been about a new machine in a long time.

What is Punk Rock Pinball?

The Punk Rock Pinball Podcast is hosted by Mike Felumlee and Stephanie Wysocki, co-founders of Live From The Rock Room and the team behind Punk Rock Pinball. Mike’s background in punk music (Smoking Popes) meets our day-to-day life running a growing pinball club, playing in tournaments, and building out the pinball community.

Each episode is us talking through the machines we’re enjoying, club updates, events we’re hosting, places we’re visiting, and whatever’s happening in pinball that week. It’s straightforward, conversational, and pulled from our actual experience in the hobby.

If you want a real, honest look at pinball from people who live in it every day, this is the show.
