Peter and John are taken into custody by the religious authorities for teaching about Jesus and the resurrection from the dead. Peter takes the opportunity to preach the gospel, including Psalm 118 to show it was prophesied. The two disciples are threatened and released. There is also a brief summary of the new believers selling property to take care of other believers' needs, with Barnabas being singled out as a particular example. Read from the World English Bible.
