He promises rehab but backs out, threatening to "get fucked up" if Amy doesn't cancel her New Year's Eve plans. Gary follows Amy to Kemah, forcing her to flee. Back at the house on December 31st, Gary shoots up and collapses. Amy waits three hours before calling 911. The episode concludes with Amy reading her own heartbreaking journal entries and eye-opening notes found on Gary’s devices.
