Fishing Fanatics

Daniel Ramsey was born and raised in Trinidad Tx. His father taught him to cast a bait caster at a young age and he caught his first bass on a soft plastic at the age of 6. He started tournament fishing with his father at the age of 12 and has been competitive fishing ever since then. Daniel’s home lake is Cedar Creek Lake but he lives within an hour and a half from over a dozen or more lakes including Lake Fork. Daniel embarked on chasing the dream of becoming a Bassmaster Elite Series angler last year by fishing both the Southern and Central divisions. This year he is competing in all 9 Opens as an EQ angler. Daniel hopes to one day compete at the Elite level and also fish in the Bassmaster Classic.

In this episode, we discuss fishing in Texas and Daniel's amazing ShareLunker story as well as Daniel’s 20+ years as a volunteer firefighter.
