How does a career in financial services lead to a career in brewing beer? This entrepreneur made that life change and then invested in his community, others, and those in need around the world. Seth Morgan shares how he found his purpose by visiting global cultures and then applying it to his life journey.
Seth owns Denton County Brewing Company in Denton, Texas, and says his passion for the community has always been at the heart of the brewery.
“When you start a business, you do it because you have a passion, you have something you want to follow, and you do it for your community. It is about the beer, but it’s not about the beer — we wanted to create something that would give back and share in what we do, and that’s exactly what has happened.”
Seth also has found purpose in helping others around the world. He co-founded Orant Charities, whose mission is to make a sustainable impact in Malawi, by supporting women and communities through programs in Healthcare, Clean Water, Agriculture, Education, Business Development, and Energy and Environment. www.orantcharities.org.
