Behold the Cross (Matthew 27:32-54)

This is a message by Rev. Bruce Moore from Easter: Good Friday
Passage: Matthew 27:32-54

Welcome to the Newlife podcast! We’re so glad that you could join us. Newlife is one family with many churches located in Brisbane, Coolangatta, Moreton Bay, and Robina—and we exist to see more people more like Jesus by planting and leading thriving local churches.

You’ve joined us for our Good Friday service—a moment to pause and remember the cross. In this message, we reflect on the weight of Jesus’ sacrifice and the love that held Him there. The cross isn’t just a symbol of suffering—it’s the place where mercy met justice, and death was defeated by love.

Behold the cross.
Behold the King.
Behold the greatest love.
