The Vegas Golden Knights (25-13-12) defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs (24-18-9), 6-3, on Friday at Scotiabank Arena.
The Golden Knights scored 66 seconds into the game and never looked back. Mark Stone led the way for Vegas with a multi-point night (2G, 1A), scoring his 250th and 251st career goals and extending his franchise-best 14-game point streak. Jack Eichel also had a multi-point performance (1G, 1A), giving him 61 points on the season and a seven-game point streak with 7G and 13A. Pavel Dorofeyev continued his strong scoring with his team-leading 22nd goal, while Keegan Kolesar and Braeden Bowman contributed key goals, including Bowman’s game-winner. Ten different Golden Knights recorded points, and Rasmus Andersson assisted on Stone’s empty-net goal in his Vegas debut.
