Growing Steady | Intentional Creative Business Podcast

We promise this isn’t a dirty episode and you ARE listening to the right podcast hosted by us (Jason and Caroline Zook - lol)! In this episode, we talk about how adding friction and additional work for your customer/subscriber/follower can actually be a GOOD thing for your business long-term.

Show Notes

Ahhh, “The Art of Making It Hard…” that age-old saying that no one has ever said before as it relates to business 😂.

Innuendos aside, the point of this week’s podcast episode is to share some advice that goes against all the growth hacking, overnight success, slippery funnel, etc talk. To share how we INTENTIONALLY make some things a bit more difficult for our customers/subscribers/followers. Why we like adding a bit of friction to make sure we know someone really wants to take the action we asked them to take (purchase, subscribe, or follow).

Also, we have a very lengthy discussion about the difference between a metaphor and an analogy. It goes as well as you’d expect from us!

Movies discussed this week: The Matrix and Vertical Limit 🔥💎
