John's missing out this week while he is out traveling! Josh's friend Maggie Snider stops by and they chat about how they both got into wine. They discuss the their journeys into wine while having the pairings that opened their eyes. Maggie brings the Roumieu-Lacoste sauternes and pairs it with a duck and pork pate, a spicy snack mix, and lemon bars. Josh brings the Nipozzano Chianti Riserva 2013 and pairs it with and Italian board. The board has parmigiano reggiano, prosciutto di parma, strawberries, aged balsamic from Modena, and gnocchi in a tomato sauce. Its a great episode!
