Yahweh is making it very clear why Israel is being judged by giving specifics about their sinful acts, as well as how they are constantly planning to steal from others. They only want to listen to prophets who tell them they can continue in their present pursuits. When judgement comes, then they will be inclined to ask if Yahweh is angry.
