93 Counties

Follow along as we hear from Crista Eggers, the campaign coordinator of Nebraskans for Medical Marijuana and Senator Anna Wishart, a co-chair of the organization. They describe their difficult journey to legalize medical cannabis for chronically ill people across the state.

Show Notes

In this episode, host Anne Gallagher explores Nebraska's journey toward medical marijuana legislation. Since 2020, the non-profit organization Nebraskans for Medical Marijuana has created petitions to get the issue on the ballot. Through roadblocks and legal technicalities, the organization is still fighting to gain a treatment option for chronically ill loved ones.
