Growing up in Soweto in the 80s, Beverly was immersed in the struggle against apartheid but knew racism was not the only fight, becoming one of the leading organisers of the first Pride march in Africa. Not only renowned for advocating for human rights for the Queer community, Beverly also holds a longstanding career in film. We get to know the person behind these feats.
