"If you stay in denial you're gonna get burned" ~ Elise
This episode goes out to all the women in charge at home. If you are the default parent and are running a business, this is the episode for you. And don't tune out if you aren't a parent or you're not running a business. There is still good stuff in here, but this episode was definitely inspired by the moms I know who are running businesses with kids who are about to hit or are already on summer break because that's what I’m talking about - how you can make summer break work for you this year. You see, if you’re still in denial about the reality of your summer responsibilities, I hate to break it to you, but summer break really is coming. Heck, for some of you, it's already here. This can mean kids at home that you are going to have to somehow keep occupied and support. Or kids at camps that you're gonna have to transport to all these events that'll be different from the schedule that you were following for school and daycare. Vacations that you have coming up, whether they're on your own or with kids. Maybe for you, it’s adjusting your schedule to make room for the outdoor seasonal things you love doing. This could be a very busy time of year for some, and for others, things slow right down. So, what do you do about it? Here are 3 things I’d like you to consider; What do you want your summer to look like? Who do you need to communicate this to? What systems do you need to put in place to support this?If you need help getting clear on this, then join us for the What's Your Problem? workshop on June 28th. It’s a workshop where you'll learn, identify next steps, and have time to ask me anything you want that will help you move forward. Head on over to eliseenriquez.com/problem to sign up.

Have you ever noticed how most productivity advice doesn’t work for women?
That’s because you’re not a man who has a spouse at home who takes care of all the things. You’re juggling your business, your career, and your family. It’s a lot, and no wonder why things slip through the cracks despite your best intentions to get it all done.
When you treat everything as an urgent priority, you lose all sense of what truly matters. This podcast is here to help you change all of that. One week at a time.
Unlike other shows about productivity, only The Productivity Shift helps women in charge (in their biz, at work, at home, etc) take back their time and use it to make progress on what matters most to them.
Each week, Elise Enriquez, a productivity dork and certified life coach, guides you to redefine what productivity is to you. You’ll get strategies and insights you can implement right away. Lighten your load and focus on what’s most important so you can create a life and business that is meaningful to you.
