We are subjected to 40 million bits of data at one time, but we can only consciously process 40. This means we are unconsciously processing a tremendous amount of data every single day. Unconscious Bias as come to the forefront as a factor at play at work in who we hire and who we promote. It can prevent inclusion and result in discrimination unknowingly. This session will explore Unconscious Bias to understand, what it is, why we have and how to prevent it in the workplace.
