After leaving Samaria Jesus comes back to the region he's from and is immediately met with request to heal the son of a city official. Jesus knows that we won't believe unless we see signs, miracles, and evidence. This is an indictment on humanity. However, he doesn't withhold himself from those of us with frail faith—he meets us in our weakness and invites us to trust him with as much or as little faith as we have.
