In this episode we look at the history of the Rocket. From its origins in gunpowder technology, to the start of the rapid developments beginning in India, which were then brought to Britain. Beginning at the start of the 20th century, rocket technology took a life of its own; developing from a theoretical project to the ability to destroy all life on Earth and sending men to the moon in only 50 years.
