In this Business Spotlight Interview, we hear from Amanda Rogers, CEO of iplume Writing.
Amanda has a long working history in management roles in non-profit organizations. In 2017 she took the leap of doing some freelance writing work so she was able to stay home with her children. Then in 2021 iPlume began to take off when she hired her first employee, and now in 2024 she has a team of 10 people working across Canada. Amanda's main mission is to give back to the community through her writing services. Amanda touches on some great points on how she balances her personal and work life and drives home that it is something that we all strive to do, yet never perfectly achieve. Amanda attributes the growth of her company to the hard work and dedication she has put in, her superb team, and the networks she has entered and created. If Amanda was to start over, she would not have done anything differently. She touches on how her business grew at the perfect speed to keep up with her life and have a perfect integration.
