भवेत् आन्तरङ्गिकः विकासः

कश्चन राजा भौतिकव्यवस्थापरिकल्पनमात्रात् सुखशान्त्यादयः वर्धिष्यन्ते इति विचिन्त्य सर्वविधानि आनुकूल्यानि प्रजानां कृते परिकल्पितवान् आसीत् । तथापि सुखशान्त्यादयः प्रवृद्धाः न दृश्यन्ते इति यदा सः स्वस्य मार्गदर्शकं संन्यासिनम् उप्सर्प्य अवदत् तदा संन्यासी 'सुखशान्त्यादयः आन्तरङ्गिकाः । ते च भावाः जनानां मनस्सु स्वयम् उत्पन्नाः भवेयुः । तदर्थं धार्मिकोपन्यासाः आयोजनीयाः, सत्सङ्गादयः व्यवस्थापनीयाः, परोपकारः, समाजसेवा, दानप्रवृत्तिः इत्यादिषु जनाः आधिक्येन प्रवर्तनीयाः.....’ इत्यवदत् । इतिकर्तव्यताबोधं प्राप्तवान् राजा गुरुं प्रणम्य ततः निर्गतवान् ।

A king once thought that by arranging material comforts alone, happiness and peace among his people would increase. Yet, when these did not appear, he approached his Guru. The Guru explained: “Happiness and peace are inner states. They must arise within people’s minds. For this, religious discourses should be organized, gatherings of noble company arranged, and people encouraged toward charity, social service, and helping others”. Understanding his duty, the king bowed to his teacher and departed.

What is बालमोदिनी?

सम्भाषणसन्देशः इति संस्कृतमासिकपत्रिका (https://sambhashanasandesha.in) । एतस्यां पत्रिकायां प्रकाशिताः लेखाः, कथाः, बालकथाः, वार्ताः इत्यादिकं सर्वम् अपि सरलसंस्कृतेन एव प्रकाश्यते । तत्रत्याः “बालमोदिनी”नामिकाः बालकथाः अत्र प्रसार्यन्ते । अतः अस्याः शृङ्खलायाः नाम अपि “बालमोदिनी” एव । लघु गात्रं, सरला भाषा च कथानां विशेषः । प्रत्येकं कथा काञ्चित् नीतिं बोधयति । बालकथाः आबालवृद्धं सर्वेषां प्रियाः । संस्कृतेन ताः श्रोतुम् उपलब्धाः भवन्तु इति एषः प्रयत्नः श्रोतृभ्यः अवश्यं रोचेत इति विश्वासः । संस्कृतक्षेत्रे संस्कृतेन पॉड्कास्ट् क्रियमाणाः एताः प्रप्रथमाः कथाः इति सगौरवम् उद्घोष्यते ।
