Riches to Rags

The American Dream is all about going from rags to riches. The story of Joseph in the Bible is one of those feel-good narratives we love becaue he ends up being wealthy and prosperous despite some major hardships. Moses, on the other hand, lost his royalty and ended up being blessed in other ways—he went from riches to rags. Which life would you rather have when comparing these two men?
