In today’s powerful homily, Fr. Daniel Klimek reflects on Jesus’ invitation to leave our comfort zone, take up our cross, and follow Him more deeply.
What cross are we actually willing to carry for Jesus?
Fr. Daniel reminds us that fasting is not only about giving up food. Sometimes God invites us to fast from comfort, distractions, complaining, pride, resentment, selfish habits, and anything that weakens our communion with Christ.
When we constantly avoid sacrifice, our comfort zone can slowly distance us from Jesus. The Christian life invites us instead to unite our daily struggles, sacrifices, and sufferings with the Cross.
🙏 Penance is not about earning God’s love. God already loves us unconditionally. Penance is our response of love:
“Jesus, You suffered for me. You carried the Cross for me. You gave Your life for me. I freely offer You this small sacrifice because I love You.”
✝️ Leave the comfort zone.
✝️ Carry your cross.
✝️ Offer your sacrifice.
✝️ Stay in communion with Jesus.
The Cross is not where love ends. The Cross is where Love gives everything.
