Pending home sales in the United States just fell to the lowest level ever recorded. Not the lowest since mortgage rates went above 7%. Not the lowest since the pandemic.
The lowest since the National Association of Realtors began tracking the data in 2001.
Worse than 2020.
Worse than 2008.
And pending sales are not the only housing indicator flashing red.
