A Pod Named Kickback

On this episode of A Pod Named Kickback, No Brakes Nu’ and Get Fit with Jacq talked about navigating Mercury retrograde and that strange feeling of finally fixing your problems but still carrying the stress from when everything seemed to be falling apart. They also reviewed the season finale of From, discussed the impact of social media and adult content on children in light of the Daphne Joy headlines, and debated Texas requiring Bible instruction in public schools.

The crew also broke down new music from T.I., Benny the Butcher, and Nova, before closing with a mid-year check-in. With July kicking off the second half of the year, they challenged everyone to look at the goals they set in January, celebrate the wins, learn from the losses, and finish the year stronger than they started. Another Sunday, another Kickback. 🎙️🔥

What is A Pod Named Kickback?

I’m No Brakes Nu’, host of A Pod Named Kickback. I spent 20 years as a rapper from DC who has appeared on 106 & Park, MTV’s Direct Effect and became a legend in DC and the DMV for selling my CD’s out of the trunk of my car and making fire music and music videos that watched like short movies. Never forget. I launched my internet radio show in April of 2012. The last few years I switched it to an official podcast and on this podcast I discuss the biggest stories in pop culture, politics, music, sex, and sports. Some weeks I find one idea I’d like to discuss and solely focus on that. 🤷🏾‍♂️ I invite some of the brightest, most engaging and entertaining minds I can find to have these discussions with me on my virtual kickback. Don’t tell anyone but sometimes I invite listeners on the podcast too. I record live at 7PM on Sunday nights on youtube. As I come up on my 12th year of edutaining you I only ask that you subscribe to the vibe and tell a friend to do so as well. #NoBrakes
