Reading Daniel Chapter 1

Daniel was probably at least from among the nobles of the children of Israel, but one of the still faithful families, for he did not want to defile himself with the king's dainties. After a time of learning the language, the king was so impressed with them that he made them top advisors to himself. Read from the World English Bible.
