MBAsians: The Asian MBA Podcast

In the previous episodes, we mostly focused on the topics like school life or recruiting . But, even with all the classes, events and assignments, There is still plenty of free time that you can decide how to use. It could be after school hours, weekends and holidays, or breaks between semesters. How you spend those free time can really change your overall MBA experience. We invite Yiran Huang, who is currently a second-year MBA student from Chicago Booth, to share how she manages her off-campus free time with us.

Meet Yiran Huang 
Born and raised in China, Yiran is a second-year MBA student at Chicago Booth. Prior to MBA, she had consulting experience as data analytics consultant, then pivoted to product manager position at UBS Asset Management in Hong Kong. This past summer, she interned at McKinsey in LA. During her free time, she enjoys painting, cooking, and Hispanic culture.

Born and raised in Taiwan, Jacob worked in marketing and public relations at a tech company. At a young age, Jacob studied as a foreign exchange student in the US, understanding the challenges of being an international student. While studying at Ross, he has witnessed peers struggling in navigating MBA lives, motivating him to support and inspire others by creating the MBAsians Podcast.

Born and raised in South Korea, Jay worked as a business developer and sales manager at an international trading company. Jay experienced countless trials and errors from preparation towards his MBA to adapting himself into first-ever foreign country life, motivating him to make MBAsians.
