Reimagine Schools

In this episode, award-winning principal Jessica Cabeen shares the principles of Unconventional Leadership that includes putting people over position, taking big risks, and dispelling the myth that every school should have the "perfect principal." Cabeen, a popular speaker and author of four books on school leadership, also encourages principals to reimagine professional development for teachers by creating a "PD Playlist" that allows educators to "pick and choose their own adventure" on the path to their own professional growth. Finally, Cabeen talks about the power of being a connected educator on Twitter and why being called the "school mom" by her teenage students is the ultimate compliment in her daily work as a school administrator.
