During Lord Rama's campaign to Lanka, Nala and Nila began building a bridge across the ocean. Huge stones inscribed with Rama's name floated steadily on the water. Seeing this, Lord Rama quietly picked up a stone and threw it into the sea. To everyone's surprise, it sank immediately. Watching this, Hanuman smiled and said, "Lord, this teaches us one truth—whoever is abandoned by You is certain to fall".
