Bob Work served as the Deputy Secretary of Defense from 2014 to 2017 and has a long history of service in the government and military before then. He is widely known for developing the Third Offset strategy. He is currently President of TeamWork, a consulting firm that specializes in national security affairs. And even more relevant to this discussion - he is the Vice-Chair of the National Security Commission on AI.
