There, he held many leadership positions in the Infantry and Armor branches. Within his career, he assisted in disaster relief operations for Hurricane HUGO in Charleston, SC, and Hurricane ANDREW in south Florida. Since his retirement from the Army, Oak has become a public speaker and author of "Your Leadership Legacy: Becoming the Leader You Were Meant to Be." Oak believes in servant leadership and practices this throughout his personal life too.
