Moving Radio

Christian Zyp interviews Etta George House about her documentary HEY PANSY! making its World Premiere at the Metro CInema Wednesday October 22nd at 7:00 pm. Following the screening, stick around for a special Q&A with panelists featured in the film, hosted by guest moderator Kyler Chittick, a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Political Science at the University of Alberta and Co-Director of Rainbow Story Hub.

HEY PANSY!... Set in Edmonton, the film follows fictional journalist Pam Flap as she investigates the rise of anti-trans and anti-drag rhetoric across the prairies. Through candid conversations with conservative protesters, educators, community members, academics, and drag performers, Pam asks one central—and provocative—question: Are drag queens dangerous? Balancing humour with compassion, HEY PANSY! offers a sharp, heartfelt exploration of inclusion, identity, and belonging at a moment when these conversations are more vital than ever.
