• • • Um stories of the Bible. Junior • • esther. • • • • • Let's meet Esther, • • who was brave and a beautiful queen. She heard a terrible plan of someone who is mean. The man's name was Hayman • • and he hated Mordecai, the Jews. Uh • • hayman made a decree to kill all the Jews and there was nothing they could do. • • Mordecai asked Esther to tell the king something was amiss and asked what if you were made queen for such a time as this? • • Esther knew it was scary, but she went to the king. • • He was happy to see her and would give her anything. • • • • • Esther held two banquets and then told the evil plot to the king. • • The king was angry and asked who would do such a thing. Esther said that Hayman was the man, the one who came up with the plan. Hayman was terrified. He went pale with fright. • • • The king ordered Hayman killed on um that very night. But the plot was still in place, and the Jews were in harm's way. The king issued a new decree to defend themselves however they may. The Jewish people were saved because of Esther's bravery, • • and the Jews celebrated their great victory. • • • • • • • • • • M. • • • • • • •
