Little Moments Count is a statewide collaborative focused on helping parents and
caregivers learn about the importance of brain development in the first three years of life. Nearly 80 percent of brain growth happens in the first thousand days, and small moments of interaction - like talking, playing, reading and singing - help create the

The Afternoon Drive is excited to be partnering with Little Moment Count to host conversations
focused on early childhood development. We’ll be guests every other week to talk about their
involvement in Little Moments Count and how they view the role of early childhood
development in creating bright futures and strong communities.
