Do you have a guilty pleasure? Maybe a song, an artist many people may not like or a show you may love to watch? Hosts Liz Nass and Jaden Beard will talk about theirs, and you have some guilty pleasures in common.

What is Houselights from The State News?

The State News discusses issues and the cultural impact of entertainment news including TV & film, fashion, music and more.

(Liz) Welcome back to another week of Houselights. I'm one of your co hosts, Liz.

(Jaden) And I'm one of your co hosts Jaden.

(Liz) And welcome back to the one stop shop for everything you needed to hear about this week in the world of entertainment. How are we feeling this week?

(Jaden) I'm feeling good. I'm glad that we made the decision not to do every other word for that continuously. Yeah, no, I think that that's probably more sustainable. Yeah. I'm feeling good falls in the air.

(Liz and Jaden) Fall is in the air and it's a little chilly. Oh, and we're gonna do like, flow building after this. I can't think of anything more full. Yeah, that's great. And like, fall is my favorite season. Did you know that about me? It's my favorite season too. Ah, oh, We're soulmates? It's a great one. It's my favorite time of year.

(Liz) I wanted to start this episode by saying congratulations to our podcasts, people for all shades of chocolate. Their ACP finalist award so proud of Anthony year, and Shakyra and Jada. Of course. We have so much good talent here, the seniors Podcast Network, and check out all this is true. That was sort of like a good ad. I feel like yeah, anyways, what's the first thing we were talking about today? Jane? I think we should get into guilty pleasures. Oh, okay. Okay, starting off with the good stuff. So, first of all, I want to start this with, I feel like nothing I ever do is a guilty pleasure. You don't feel guilty. I never feel guilty about anything. I have no regrets whenever I do anything, okay. Like, it's just like, my, it's just my thing, you know, but I can imagine that there's other things that people may think is like, cringe, and so then I sort of consider it a guilty pleasure.

(Jaden) I think it's just like, if somebody is like, hey, like, what are you listening to? And you like, pause before you're like, Yeah, that's the thing. That's what I'm like, that's a guilty pleasure or something that you just indulgent way too frequently. Yeah. But I agree with that. And I honestly applaud it. Don't look at my list

(Liz) I'm not looking at. So yeah, we wrote our list. Like showing each other. So we wanted to get our, you know, yeah, we've been keeping an eye on each other as well. It's been pretty intense. Who's room? Brainstorming like with our computers, like facing away from each other? Yeah, this is true. We're like, don't look at me. No, don't look at mine. Oh, um, all right. Who wants to go first? Me, are you?

(Jaden) I'll go first. Because this is what inspired me to propose this idea because I realized that my number one guilty pleasure song is blurred lines. Today song is so good. Oh my god, you're so no. So strong. Okay, thank you. And I think this is a true guilty pleasure. Because it's like, the type of song you can't you can't play it in front of other people. It's not a song that you know, it's very controversial. It's like the modern, it's pretty problematic. It's very problematic. It's the modern day, baby. It's cold outside.

(Liz) That's so and that's like a song that's not good enough to be a guilty pleasure. Like yeah, Christmas songs. So no, you're right. Blurred Lines goes crazy.

(Jaden) It does go crazy. I listened. It's like a song that I put on when I'm like walking to class to get into a good I'm like grooving. But I'm like, whoever no one can hear. I hope. My headphones. I'm like, if this is a part of my like, wrapped, like, I would say I'm an apple. You listen to it enough. iMovie in your life? I don't think so. But it's something that I'm conscious of that I'm like, I kind of don't want this to be in my recap,

(Liz) right. I'm so conscious of my raft all the time. Because like a couple of like, I think I think it was this past year. It was Doritos and Fritos. Right. 100 decks was my number one song. I don't think it's embarrassing because like 100 bucks was crazy. Yeah, but like, I just listened to it so I can get homework done, because it's just like noises. Yeah, that's how I get my homework.

(Jaden) I'm the same exact way I can't listen to like chill music while I'm doing homework. I need to listen to like Metallica. Yeah, yeah. And that's like, I just need no other. This is a tangent. Sorry. Yeah, I just need like, no space for thoughts. And just like loud music and homework, or that's why I feel like I can watch TV and do homework.

(Liz and Jaden) Or like the I can't. I'm gonna watch it. Yeah, if it's something I've already watched, though, like even a podcast will like freak me out something. Really. I disagree.

(Liz) I don't even like most of the time. I can listen to like normal music but like noise music. What was it like, there? If we're talking about like, I don't even have a song on this list. I'm going to bring up temporary Secretary by Paul McCartney. Okay, it has to be the worst song in the world. But like, it's just like people boo, boo, boo, boo, boo boo boo. And that's like all it is and it's so good. For like, like spacing out. Okay, you know, my old roommates listen to Mario Kart. Music to like, make her go faster.

(Jaden and Liz) I've heard that before I heard that strategy because it's like super productive. And I think I've seen that online when people be like, I can't post my Spotify wraps because it's just like Mario Kart knees. Honestly, it's not enough sounds for me. Yeah, I haven't tried it I shun it's not enough sounds for No, I think I need more. So that's just like those like angry sounds maybe that's funny. Did I tell you I saw 100x Live at Lollapalooza want? Yeah. Wow. How was it last year? It was sick, dude. That's actually like on my number. Like number one number two number three people I want to see in concert number one, number two number three, like I know all of them, but it was fun. It was just super fun. It was super fun. I think my number one person was his Tame Impala. Yeah, that's been on my list for Lollapalooza. Yeah, girl go so crazy because like how do they do it? How do they do all the groom's it's weird. All right. All right. Let me get into my first guilty Yeah, sure you give one.

(Liz) This one might be controversial. Why a romance books slash Colleen Hoover. Oh. Feeling that was going to be your reaction. Okay. I I wrote an article one time for her campus media about normalizing reading from the like, hormonal middle schoolers section of Barnes and Noble.

(Jaden) Okay, I'm with you on that. I am with you on that. Colleen Hoover books specifically though. I just elaborate. They're bad they are. But I love them. I'm not I'm not judging. I'm not judging, because I understand. This is like, if you were to take a survey of like, every woman's like guilty pleasure. It's probably going to like Colleen Hoover books are probably going to be out there just like romantic books in general. No, I'm with you on that. I love I love a good romance book.

(Liz) Yeah, no, I'm like, why a romance is different from calling Hoover like calling Hoover's just like, sometimes, like just pure filth. Yeah, like and just like trauma dumping. Yeah. But like November 9, I cried. And like I think that then like, that's takes a lot for me to like, wow, like announced to the world. And now everybody's gonna know. And now everyone knows. And everyone knows but honestly, I haven't read Colleen Hoover book in a while but I was in a real pickle tried to get out of that phase for a while because I was like, How do I read something academic? Yeah, after reading like ugly love. Yeah, I tried to read ugly love and I couldn't. I just couldn't get through it. No, it was it got kind of boring near the end, but I don't know something about him. Like, when are they going to kiss? And really, that's I think I had a conversation with Hannah Worley. One time about that was she was like reading like a good YA romance book. And it wasn't till the very end that they kissed and like her and her friend group come asking like when are they going to kiss? Everybody loves a slow burn?

(Jaden and Liz) Yeah, this is very true. I love a celebrity. What's your favorite romance troupe? Minds enemies, two lovers. I was about to say that but I was like, is it actually enemies to lovers? Or have I just been told that it should be? It shouldn't be. It's so good. It's so good, though. No, it probably is enemies to lovers. Attention tension, the tension, like bridgerton Yasna to Yes, he's gonna love bridgerton I love the second season more than I loved the first one. Yeah. I love Anthony. Yeah. British is just so good. And because even I can't think of a name because I forgot his name but the Duke in the first season. Oh, yes. I believe this is no Simon Simon. Yeah. They're virgins. Really good. Honestly, I didn't watch the Queen. One. Me neither. Me neither. We are similar in this way. Because I didn't find it all them. I'm just waiting to get back to the regular length. bridgerton family. I know. I agree. But I feel like the next season isn't supposed to be like, Penelope and but I hate her. i Okay. I don't hate her. I think that her last like season was very underdeveloped for her. Yeah. And she was being kind of whiny. She was the what's the guy's name? Colin. Yeah, he's so annoying. And he doesn't give her the time of day. And it's I know it's gonna be like the friends to lovers line because you know, you have the slow burn. Truth from the first one. Second one second. I love fake dating trope. See? I don't I like it. I mean, it is very like One Direction fanfiction. Yeah, and I think that's probably why I like it because I've grew up reading One Direction fan fiction, too. That's a whole nother episode. I think we've talked about on Houselights. What, as we are who we are as people as filmmakers that we would talk about one right from infection. Yeah. Anyways, let's move on from that and Well, one thing about Houselights From now on guys, we're gonna tangent. I know a while, but no, it's okay. It's yeah.

(Liz) Um, do you want to go on your next guilty pleasure? Oh, sorry. Let me finish my bridgerton thought. Yeah. Like it was slowburn enemies lovers, and I will try to hit the friends to lover's trope as well. I just feel like every single, like, season is just going to be like a trope of like this stuff that you read and like, oh, well books that are like a hot firefighter. Yeah.

(Jaden and Liz) Which I wanted to ask you. Have you ever read one of the British handbooks I have? Because I kind of want to they seem like they'd be good books based on the show. I feel like they would, but I feel like since I already know the plotline, yeah, I wouldn't be able to sit through it. That's my problem. The only books that I've been able to read after watching the media that was created because of it. Like afterward is, um, Big Little Lies. Okay, but that's just because I love that show in the book so much. That's fair. Like I would never, ever read like the Gossip Girl book. I've read one of the Gossip Girl books. It wasn't good. It was fine. It's just to me with the like, books and everything. It's not well, they changed.

(Jaden) So much of like the dynamic, like in the show, and so I feel like reading the book would, I'd be like, but this isn't what happened.

(Liz) Plus there's so many gossan Chromebooks. Yeah, there's so many. Yeah, you can get through all them. It's like, Pretty Little Liars going on crack. Books are good, because they are different plotlines. Yeah, so I do reckon Well, I don't recommend that anymore, because I'm not a middle schooler. But if I were a middle schooler, I would recommend it. Yeah, that's okay. We brought it back to YA romance. YA romance brought it back. Alright, next your next.

(Jaden) Okay, another guilty pleasure music artists I have is bad. Maybe. Gucci foot. I was not expecting that. You can go ahead and elaborate on that Gucci flip flops is so good. Anthony is nodding his head. It's so good. And her other music. I'm geeked up. That's another one I can't think of there's three specifically but behaving bad baby. Yeah. And you know what? She hasn't really done anything. She was on Dr. Phil? Yeah, she's the Kashmir outside house. Yes. What was the there's been so many people that like have had weird music, like careers careers after doctor and you know what? She deserved it? She didn't deserve it. You know? To come out of like, the songs to back it up. That's true. Like let me pull it up if I can do it like me. Play baby. I'm like we're gonna be right Lucy flip flops featuring Lil Yachty gauges featuring little baby. That's craziness. Yellow, yada, yada. And then high B word is a good song as well. That's what I have. No. downloaded. Um, honestly, I would put it I would put it like on Fox though. Like Blurred Lines I wouldn't put on Alex. Well, no, you can Gucci flip flops though. So good. I'm sorry. And that's a guilty pleasure. I'm just because of like, it's bad baby. It's the Catch me outside girl. It's not. It's just good. And I honestly stand behind that.

(Liz) No, in her stories. So you know. Wait, wasn't she the one that's like super Christian? No. Is she super Christian? I like I saw Tiktok we, you know, I will update in the next Houselights episode, because I do want to check that I don't like putting that on her. It might have been a different like Cloud chaser. That was like Dr. Phil. Yeah. But there's one of them that did that. I feel like it's on bad baby. So I'll leave that thought there. Then say that Liz is wrong.

(Jaden) This is this is very fair. Um, I hope she releases that will kind of explain why she hasn't like released anything. That's true, because I don't know what she's up to. But honestly, due to flip flops is just in her bag. She's in her bag. She doesn't need to do anything else. And honestly, I don't really remember her story from the show. So I can't really speak on it.

(Liz) I mean, she was just like one of the ones who was like, I go out all the time. And I drink and smoke, and I'm a teenager, and I think I'm super cool. And my mom hates me. This girl is out of control. There's girls out of control. And Phil McGraw is really pistol on it. Yeah. That's so I feel like that's a guilty pleasure. Yeah. Judge Judy and Dr. Phil. Oh, yeah, double feature.

(Jaden) I used to watch okay, this is a bag. This is a backstory of me. I used to like dogs it a lot when I was like in middle school money. And I would always just watch Judge Judy. So I would sit down and I would like eat their food and watch Judge Judy for hours with the dog. And I don't think I'll ever have a better job than that. No, that's amazing. No, I just saw It was such a big part of my childhood, like, coming home after school and my mom's like sitting on the couch watching Judge Judy, and she gets me like my afternoon snack. And I used to watch Ellen after school for some reason. Okay, that would that was on. And I'd be like, oh, what musical guest I feel like that's I didn't write any of this down. But I feel like just in general low budget television like that, like cable TV is a big guilty pleasure that I haven't indulged in recently because I don't know when it's low budget. No, but I'm saying pay her interns. Cuz she like hate her interns. I heard that. Yeah, well, okay. Maybe I shouldn't say Dr. Phil wasn't low budget, but like feels he feels like a clip that together five minutes before it goes on her. Yeah, I'm like, Okay, I've throwing it way back America's Funniest Home Videos. Yo, I love those. Good. I would that would was like a whole of that.

(Liz and Jaden) Okay, talking about a double feature. You got a a V and like seven. You got Extreme Home Makeover. Yeah. Oh, like any HGTV show. Okay, House Hunters International. Duck Dynasty. Oh, I never watched them. I loved dude, the way that Duck Dynasty like just took over the universe. It's like yours. It really? There was so much merch everywhere. Um, you won't wear those shows. Were those it was that guy. I have a good I have a good one. Okay, brides Illos. Brides villas, dude, I love that. I'm putting that on the guilty pleasure list now, because I feel like I couldn't tell people like I'm gonna sit down and watch bridesmaids tonight. In the same vein, Toddlers and Tiaras because it is deeply problematic. Oh, yeah. But so good. This isn't a guilty pleasure. But in the same vein as that Dance Moms Dance Moms, so like, I feel like I could tell anyone that I liked Dance Moms they all agree. I feel so it's not a guilty pleasure. But it's still it's a constant in my life. It's a constant and lives his life in this way. Um, man I thought of I thought of other ones. I have my next guilty so many just came Okay, please share. Okay, are you still on the TV show thing we can circle back with my circle about it. There are no rules. There's one thing about us. We're gonna go off on a tangent anyways. I'm really

(Liz) this one's really guilty. Okay, like fancams of my like, favorite like celebrities and like, and like this goes back to like my vine days, like six second edits of like Dan and Phil. And like, Oh, don't worry. And I agree. Like, if you like, I wish I could log into my volume from like, you like, it's so sad that it doesn't exist anymore. Yeah, because I would love to log in and just look at like, all the edits that I used to like have like One Direction. Yeah, and Dan and Phil and 21 pilots. That's good. And like tip like, like literally today. I like to VanCamp with like Ben Wyatt from Parks and Rec.

(Jaden and Liz) You posted on? I did post it and so fine and he's already sorry, five he's an idea he he's an ideal love interest. Is he's a Capricorn Yeah, that's why I'm specifically the page of Pascal at it from how long ago know that I can't relate to Pedro Pascal. Well, I don't know why he like I understand it right. I think he's attractive. I don't like need him. Biblically. I need him biblically. Like if we're gonna go in the vein of like Dilts ongoing you know, ongoing Bill Hader. I'm going with Jason Bateman. Okay, I'm going with um, Matthew McFadden, Mr. Darcy if you want Oh, my God I miss succession so but you don't you don't agree with a period or Pascal? I do i i see it. I recommend you don't feel it yourself. I don't feel it myself. Okay. I don't know why. Maybe there's like a loose connection in my brain somewhere. Okay, because everybody else feels the same way. Okay, I love Pedro Pascal. Yeah. And I'm like I'm but I didn't watch the rest of us either. I watched it was I didn't watch it for way through. I should have I should get back to that this Halloween. As I'm looking for a little bit spooky entertainment. Yeah. Oh, I'm so excited for spooky entertainment which is such a it's such an episode to come like it's you just wait till October. We can't we'll sit down on podcast watch paranormal activity. Oh, six. That would be good. I have the box set. You did tell me this. I have the box of I don't know like, it doesn't really come in handy all that much. No one is like asking you to sit down with me and watch all six journal activities, which someone showed. Which by the way, if anyone wants, anyone wants to you have my email on the state news.com Don't invite that I'm sorry. All of a sudden I'm getting random emails like Oh, watch with you. That's so funny. I'll watch it with you. Okay, good. Marathon. Sure. Um, but to give a preview for the spooky entertainment to come, I have to say Scream Queens. Dude, I watch that show all the way through and I need to you need to use guilty pleasure or at the time I because I haven't seen it enough for it to be like a consistent guilty pleasure for me. Yeah, at the time. It definitely was though. I loved it. And it's so funny, but it is a little bit bit of a guilty pleasure because it's a little like, I don't know. I don't even know how to describe I just think it's so well written. It's so funny. Everyone has the best comedic timing. It's the way it was. I've only seen like a couple episodes. But what I did send URI to awesome. It's I'll take one pumpkin spice latte, but make it freezing. I'm just kidding. I'm in love. Send your data off. Yeah. You were on your way to coding. I really was no, the fact that he like runs on he's like, I work for my student newspaper and places me and I'm like that's so us. I was doing an investigative report for my student newspaper and don't get involved in that organize that place is dangerous play. Now we have quoted the whole thing. We've summed it up. Nobody needs to watch that episode anymore. Because you know what happens? It's so good. Do you want to do your next one?

(Jaden) Yeah, I'm okay. Any low budget rom com? Yeah, that you know, it's you know how it's gonna end? Yep. It's not well written like a Hallmark movie sort of. That's a different that's a whole other story. But honestly, yeah, Hallmark movies. So so like, easily, like digestible. Yeah, no, there's the thing that if you go to a certain time stamp and every single Hallmark movie, that's when they make up and it's like, all good. I'm growing up though. Me and my mom watched so many Hallmark movies every like Christmas, and it was just like, adorable.

(Liz) No, it's so fun. My mom was yeah, we'd like laugh about it. If I go home like anytime, like from like November 30. Yeah, to have her Christmas. Like January 3, maybe? Yeah, Hallmark movie. Yeah, no saying like my mom texted me the other day and said she was watching a Hallmark movie. Oh my God and I was like a foul one interesting. That's kind of cute though. Yeah, but there I didn't know they were going all year round. No, they're not Oh, yeah. I think they just like have like a couple fall ones and then they go crazy during Christmas. There's like one out like every single night. Yeah, but okay, low budget rom coms just circle back to that. Yeah, so what like, elaborate

(Jaden) there okay, there are rom coms that because I will say with so much pride that I love rom coms. Yeah, I love to watch entertainment that makes me believe in love and like feel like love is real afterwards. But like specifically, it's like the ones that are home. Okay, your place or mine. Not a good movie, but I enjoyed it a lot. It's the one with Ashton Kutcher. And oh my god, I can't believe I forgot her name. Reese Witherspoon. Yeah, it's with them. It's that there's like this specific genre. It's like a stacked cast. Not very good writing. But at the end of it, you're like you're feeling the story, but you gotta love it. And you know, they're gonna end up together. But for the next like two hours, I'm intrigued and I'm interested that's a friends to lovers. Rom Com. First of all that one that's I didn't even particularly enjoy that one that much. I think I've read it a three on letterbox.

(Liz and Jaden) Wait, you have a litter box? Dough? Yeah. Why didn't I know you? Don't? Do you not have one or do I have one? Oh, why am I even using like yours though? Like, every once in a while we'll post something arising. It's funny. Yeah. But like, I was like, well, Liz lore shows on film school, which is messed up. I didn't know this about you. Um, and so of course, I had a litter box. Yeah. I thought that was like my calling. And then I could never finish my creative portfolio. Oh, man. Well, then I never didn't because I was like, actually, I don't want to do that. And then I was like, Wait, if you don't want to do it now only you're gonna want to do it like years down the line. Yeah. So that's how I was like, journalism. Students. I mean, there were so many indications like my kid chytrid American Girl doll know that this is your favorite? Yeah, yeah, I never had anything else to choose. Yeah. Okay, wait, one I can't think of the name of the rom com. Have you seen the one though? Where it's like, he goes back in time in a photo booths. Like, this is such a good example. No Okay, because Oh, um, your please remind what I didn't enjoy it enough for me to be like it's a guilty pleasure. But it's um he goes back on you googling it? Yeah, he goes back in time in a it's like the night we met when we first when we first met it's Adam DeVine yeah I love I love you know how I feel better pitch perfect I love him. Um That's a great example of like a kind of low budget kind of stacked cast guilty pleasure rom com that I will watch every time it comes on and have a really good rom com that like I love like they're like, feels guilty to me because, again, I don't feel guilty about I don't feel guilty about like 10 Things I Hate About You. Or like I was thinking like, oh Mean Girls like I don't feel guilty about Yeah, even even like, like, heist? I haven't. Okay, after. I do feel guilty about that. I haven't seen it. Or you're coming over? Yeah. Is that based on 50 shades? No, it's based. I mean, kind of, or is it based? It's like in the same vein as it or a Harry Styles fan fiction which is okay, which I read as a you know, you read the read the fanfiction, and then like, it made it into a book and I was like, really hitting the big time. Maybe it's you know, Liz's turn. I had, like, maybe 10,000 reads on fanfiction I ever wrote 10,000 reads Yes. That was I mean, it was definitely talked about. We definitely have but the thing is, like, I I don't love after I think it's stupid, but like, I do enjoy watching because it's so dumb. Yeah, it's like I'm gonna be entertained by it every time. Yeah. Oh my god. I think the night that you got your eyes stitch. Laura Jane and when she got her iceage after the broom ball game. Yeah, me and Miranda while we were waiting for you watched after? Okay. I think I remember you guys telling me that. Yeah. Yeah.

(Jaden) I'm a bit of jade and Laura. For the listeners. I had to get like six stitches in my I last year because I was playing way too good at broom ball. That's true. A broom ball game. And I had a black eye which looks really hot. I got I got the MVP award. And then she almost mostly be injured a promo I did paper plates. And I got the other one because I cracked my phone. Yeah. And I'm feeling the consequences now is my phone's not working. Oh, do you think that's from broomball?

(Liz) I will. It's just I never fixed it. And it's been like a year and a half now. Yeah. So I feel like it might be you know, time. Yeah, no, sometimes I'm no nevermind. Anyway. So sometimes I'm like, Well, I just say I looked really good with the black guy. And that's where I'm gonna leave it. Yeah. It's kind of you know, rough and tumble. You know, it's like she's dangerous. Ooh, she's like a Charlie's Charlie's Angel. Yeah. You have another guy? Do I have three more?

(Jaden) Okay, I have. I have one more that I could say really quickly. Um, Big Time Rush. Obviously
(Liz and Jaden) I knew you're gonna say that, actually. And I have something to say to that. Don't feel guilty about and I don't. And I My thing is I really don't I can't get enough room. I don't feel guilty. The only reason that it would be considered a guilty pleasure is because like, I love them so much when I was a kid and like a child is like kind of, you know, yeah, tech, Nickelodeon. But I've seen them in concert in my life four times. That is crazy to have them in the past two years. And it was like the best day of my life. I their music is so good. And that's all I have to say about Big Time Rush and I love them so much and most of them are seeing a person is Taylor Swift is our choice. Really? Yeah. I would love to see one direction again. I would love to have one direction if you're listening and I saw them without Zane. So if you can make the same thing happen again. Yeah, that was super cool. That's I have a saying cut out in my basement home.

(Liz) So my next guilty pleasure is too hot to handle. Oh, mostly because it's I don't again, I don't feel guilty about it. But so many people give me crap for that. Like, how can you even watch that? Cuz it's great. Yeah, obviously that's a great guilty pleasure genre, right? No, yeah. Reality shows rarely dating shows in general are really great. But to onto handles like a specific level of dumb that makes it like a guilty and makes it good because they are so dumb in it, but it is just the best. I've never seen people Converse like they converse into a table. Because it's not even a real conversation. Have you seen Love is blind? Yes. I've watched almost every season. I'm really have you Okay, wait, have you seen Married at First Sight? No, that one is crazy. Yeah, that one's because like what was wanting to get married at the end, Married at First Sight like you marry and then you get and then But do I know the title of any wins? No,it's married at second sight. I can't keep you know. I'm gonna call HR keep doing doing this. My next one is the Rio soundtrack. Okay. Just because Rio was such a good movie. Yeah, as a kid and like, I recently not recently watched him multiple times over the last couple years. We watched it more I recently watched. I sat down and watched it both times nonstop. I would. That's how much I love it. Yeah, I will. I am is on that sound track. I need to listen to it. Because I also I haven't seen I was telling you this in the car. So I don't know how this came out. I was telling you this in the car as well. I haven't seen Rio in like 10 years. But um, one of my roommates keeps comparing me to Linda Howe. Yeah, from Rio, which I don't understand. I don't really get that. And I know that you haven't seen it and you don't really have anything to go off of. But one you would never own a bird. And it is not the time person to own a bird to you. Actually, you know what? You would own a bookshop. I don't you I don't think you'd live in Minnesota. Know that. That's like, way too much. Way to be honestly, you are Michigan coded. I but I feel like I could see you on the East Coast. Okay. I like that. You're so east coast. I don't think he'd stay like, I don't I don't see you in like in deep Midwest. Yeah, I mean, either, which is like, I feel like I'm not. I mean, I'm close to me. And I'm still taking away from Michigan. But like, I don't see myself as like, Go Hoosier. For sure. I feel like I'm also east coast, but maybe that's just my bias. No, I think your east coast for sure. And he was my last one is a guilty pleasure. Just because it's really mean. And it's starting Emma Watson's 2014 Looking at Instagram, and just making fun of it. That's hilarious, because she shouldn't post like that. Sorry. And it's like, I text her. And I'm like, stop posting the stuff. I know, like hate commenting on the main we talked about this last week too, which is I think it's funny. Oh, we didn't we just mentioned it. Okay, because I said I want to start posting Instagram posts without captions. Yeah, but so really pulling it all back together. My last guilty pleasure is stalking Emma Watson's. Okay, that's a good one.

(Jaden) Um, my lap because I just thought of my last one and it's a very common one. It's the Reddit videos on Tiktok with the subway surfers. I will sit down for like they're jumping on the Minecraft blocks. Yeah, that one's good. That's like a whole account is the Minecraft I love those. I will sit I will go like clean my room and listen to that. It's a 10 minute register and I'm looking at part two. I'm looking at another one that if we're talking about just really quick, doorman Oh.

(Liz and Jaden) With like, and it's not even a subway service on me that some like random game, but I don't I don't even know what it's called. there'll just be like a game underneath and then a doorman video. And they're just so you're so real that the antagonists in the videos are always like, ridiculously mean, and it's not one girl. It's that one blonde girl. Yes. She's rich, and the worst every time and I'm like, I want to see her get owned. Yeah. And I'm like, okay, part two. Where is it? Where is it? I will honestly that's just a whole genre of guilty pleasure. It's just the game and then the cliff on The Club. Yeah, I ended up on like Family Guy as well. Yeah, that was weird as I've literally never sat down and watching them sort of Family Guy. Yeah, saying but like I would watch what a Subway Surfers underneath. Dun dun dun deal. Yeah, that was a great way to end this episode. And I stand behind all of it. Oh my god. Guilty pleasure. None of us shouldn't be guilty about that. None of us. None of us should. And that is the moral of the story. We're here for you. We're here to listen to you. You know, comment down below. There's really no, there's no please comment. No, I realized quick interjection if on the Apple podcast, there's like a little section to like, kind of, oh, Spotify, it was Spotify. There's a little it's not comments, but it's like you can leave a note or something. Okay. Leave them know what your guilty pleasure is. Yeah. And will judge you for it. And you're just for hours. And it's a cycle. Okay. It's cool. All right. Well, we'll see you next week. Maybe we'll do trivia next week. Who knows? Bye, guys. Love you. Bye
