Alex Wu: Hello everyone. Today we'll be talking about the Weasley family. The Weasley family is a pure blood family, but they don't believe that pure bloods are better than everyone else.
So they're called blood traders by the blacks and the malfoy, who are also pure black families. But they have different ideas. On pure bloods. The Weasley are also really poor because they live on a tight budget due to supporting seven children. I think having seven children would be a nightmare for me.
Well then you shouldn't have seven children. Wonder how they even got seven children.
Okay. Anyways, Wesleys are have or have been sorted into Gryffindor and they all have red hair, kind of orangeish, but still red hair. Anyways. First up, we have Molly Weasley, the matriarch of the family. What is, [00:01:00] what does matriarch mean? It's like. A woman. Okay, but there's Guinea too.
And Guinea is a woman. It's Ginny. Ginny is a woman. Ginny's a child. The matriarch of the family is the one who takes care of everyone in the family. The woman figure who takes care of. Oh, okay. Okay. Yeah. So when you hear like someone say, um, they're the man of the house, think of that. So she's the woman of the house?
Yes. Like that. Okay. And she can also be known as the. Best mom ever. Well party in the in partying world party. Yeah, in the wizarding world. Well, that's still an opinion, but in the wizarding world, she's the best mom ever. Okay. Molly Peru was prot. I think I'm, I think I'm saying that wrong. Anyways, Molly was born on October 30th, 1949.
[00:02:00] She was sisters to Fabian and Gideon Pro Woods, both the former members of the Order of the Phoenix. Molly attended Hogwarts and was sorted into Gryffindor. After she graduated, she married Arthur Weasley and started a family. Her brothers were killed by death leaders and died as heroes. That's sad. Yeah.
She also acts as a motherly figure for Harry treating him as one of her own, even sending him Christmas presents. Uh, that's because Harry doesn't, he, he doesn't really have a motherly figure to stand, uh, to look up to. But Molly is his motherly figure. Yeah. And so Molly is also a member of the revived order, the Phoenix Revived Order.
Revived order of the Phoenix. Wait, why is it revived? What does that mean? Because the order of the Phoenix wasn't needed. 'cause the, the war, the first wizarding war was already done. Okay. Okay. [00:03:00] But, but where Molly is terrifying, if you ever hurt one of her children as seen in the final battle of Hogwarts when Molly kills Belichick la Strange Wait.
With the killing hers. No, with like a curse. I forgot what curse it was. Don't ask me. Well, she killed someone. Okay. Yeah. Anyways, next up we have all through Wheatley. That's a bright red hair. Actually. It doesn't have bright red hair. I just added it so it makes it look like he has bright red hair. Anyways, Arthur Reley is, was born on February 6th.
1950. His parents were septum, miss Weasley and sla. Black, black, another pure blood family. He was one of three boys. He also works for the Ministry of Magic, but is also part of the order of the Phoenix. Yeah, author is really interested with MLE ways [00:04:00] and objects, and he was also, because he's in the order of the Phoenix, they took turns guarding the Department of Mysteries in the fifth book.
Yeah. And he was attacked by NAI while Who's? Who's Nini? Nini? Nini Nini. She's Baltimore Snake. Yeah. Baltimore Snake. Um, wait, is it a girl or a boy? Girl. He was attacked by Na Genie, but he made a recovery and lived because of Harry Potter. Yeah. Kind of. 'cause Harry saw Na Genie. No. Saw he was, he, he was Na Genie.
He attacked. Yeah. No. Yeah. He saw author through Na Genie's as Nini Na Genie. Okay. Something. Anyways. Now onto the children. Um, the oldest of the seven children is Bill Weasley. His full name is William. But, uh, everyone calls him Bill. He was born on [00:05:00] November 29th, 1970, and when he grew up, he worked as a curse breaker for Gringotts Bank.
And he married Flo De Decor. Where did he get those scars on his face? Uh, he was mauled by a werewolf, I think it was. Yeah. By fin or gba? Yeah. Did he turn into a wlf? No, he didn't. He survived Anyways, the second child is Charles Weasley, but I think everyone calls him Charlie, I think. Think, yeah. Yeah, Charlie.
Okay. And he, he's actually really good at Quidditch and he could have pursued a career in quidditch, but he became a ologist at Romanians dead. He's the only one of the seven children who doesn't marry. Oh, and he was born on December 12th, 1972. I couldn't really find a picture of him online, so this is just the picture.
Okay, the third child [00:06:00] is Percy Weasley. He was born August 22nd, 1976. And uh, when he went to Hogwarts, he was a really, really good kid. So he was my perfect. And then head boy, um, he worked as a ministry official. Yeah. Okay. And then we have the twins, Fred and George. They were born on April 1st, 1970 DI in 1978.
I thought. I thought first he was the minister's magic assistant. Yeah, he does. But I mean the Prime Minister's assistant or something like that. Yeah. Yeah. Anyways, Fred and George was born on April 1st, so they're na in their nature. They're pranksters. So they're the founders of the joke shop, Weasley Wizard Wheezes.[00:07:00]
And, but sadly, Fred was killed during the Battle of Hogwarts in 1998. He was? Yes. George. Um, when they grew up, George Marries Angelina Johnson. Uh, dead Fred's ex-girlfriend. Okay. Um, then we have Ron Weasley. His full name is Ronald and okay, in the movie he's acted out by the actor Rubrik Grant. Um, he's skilled in Wizard's chest, but he's afraid of spiders.
He's part of the Golden Trio, and it's the, he's what is the Golden Trio? Harmani Granger. Ron Weasley. Harry Potter. Uh, that's called the Golden Trio. Yes. And he's Harry's best friend, and when he grows up, he marries Harmani Granger and becomes co-manager of the family Joke shop. [00:08:00] And then we have the youngest Jenny Weasley.
Jenny was, I thought was Gu. Yeah, it's Jenny. I've told you that like 10 times. Anyways, Jenny Weasley was born one year after Ron, and she's the only girl in the entire WEASLEY seven. The seven Weasley children. Whoa. Um, and she also Mars, Harry, uh, Mars, Harry Potter. And if you've only watched the movie and you haven't read the books, then you might be thinking, why would Harry Potter choose Jenny?
But she has much more flavor in the books, so that's why you should read the books before you watch the movie. What about what, so she could became a, I think she became a professional coach. It literally says it right there. Of course, she, anyways, so she, when she grows up, she becomes a professional quidditch player.
Okay, now we have the grandchildren. Molly and Arthur Weasley have 12 grandchildren. So first we have Bill [00:09:00] and Flore. I think that's how you say her name. I don't know if I, I was saying it correctly, but we have Bill and Flo. So they have Victoria Weasley, and Dominic Weasley, and Louis Weasley.
Percy and Audrey, um, Percy actually dated Penelope Clearwater for a while before eventually marrying Audrey, but we don't know her last name. She's just like a witch that he met. They have Molly Weasley too, named after Molly. Um, Lucy, we and Lucy Weasley. Okay. And George And Angelina. George. And Angelina has Fred Weasley too.
Named in honor of George's twin and Roxanne Weasley. Harmani and Ron has Rose Granger Weasley and Hugo Granger, Weasley, and Harry and Jenny has James [00:10:00] Sirius Potter, Alba Severs Potter, and Lily Luna Potter. I'm pretty sure that Jenny did not have a say in any of these names 'cause James comes from Harry's dad, sir.
Harry's godfather, Alba Dumbledore, sever Snape Lily. Lily Potter and Luna, Luna, Lovegood and Jenny like, yeah. I'm sorry, Jenny. Anyways, that's the end. Um, thank you guys for listening. I hope you enjoyed it.
