Show Notes

This message is for anyone who senses that something is deeply wrong — in the nation, in the church, and in their own home — and who wonders whether God can still move. It is also for grandparents, parents, and long-time believers who carry a burden for the generation coming behind them. Pastor Conlon brings a prophetic word rooted in Scripture and personal urgency, calling the people of God back to the one thing that can turn the tide.

Drawing from 2 Chronicles 7 and the warnings of Deuteronomy 28, Pastor Conlon argues that the future of America — and of every family — rests on a single two-letter word: IF. The conditions are plain: humble ourselves, pray, seek God's face, and turn from our ways. The promise that follows is equally plain: "Then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land." He calls the church to stop abdicating the power of prayer and to reclaim it — in sanctuaries, in homes, and on behalf of those who have no voice of their own. "You don't have to be mighty. You don't have to be noble. You just have to be able to breathe."

Scripture: 2 Chronicles 7:12-16, Deuteronomy 28, Amos 6, Hebrews 4:16, Zechariah 4:6, Psalm 107, Mark 1

Bless the Lord. Thank you. May be seated and welcome to everybody that's with us online this evening. We're going to do something a little bit different this evening. About two, a little less than two weeks ago, I had an opportunity to preach a message at a Family Research Council conference called Pray Vote Stand in Virginia and it was a prophetic word I believe that God had given me called IF that the foundation of America and the future sits now on a two-letter word, IF. And it applies to those of you who are at home tonight too as well. It's about the future of your family, the future of your children. It's about God doing miracles in your life and in your home which I believe that he wants to do and I'm going to pray before we even watch this because at the end of this message we're going to have a time of corporate prayer together with you. We're going to believe God for miracles. We're going to believe for open doors, deliverances as we heard tonight, bondages broken, spiritual vision being given, the strength that God provides with the call that he puts on every person's life. So we're going to pray that at the end of this message but I'm going to pray for you right now. Father I just, we stretch our hands out towards those that are online this evening and we ask you Father in Jesus' name to do miracles tonight. We ask you Lord God that you would open prison doors and set captives free. We ask you that those who feel poor in themselves would find the treasure, the strength and the resources that is fully theirs in Jesus Christ. We ask you God for those who feel shame that they would receive the covering of Christ for all the stain of their sin. God we ask Lord that you would set minds free tonight. You'd set bodies free from addiction. God you'd set people free from diseases. That you would stretch out your hand. I believe God it's time for you to work because they have made void your law in this generation. We stand Lord. We're not meant to be an argument Lord and neither are you. You are the power that created this universe. You are the one who can calm the storms. You can still the seas Lord. You can call dead men out of graves. So Lord we're asking you to be who you are. We're asking you to do what you said you came to do tonight. God in Jesus' name we settle for nothing less than the miracles of God in our generation. Nothing less. Nothing less. If my people will pray. Lord God help us to pray tonight. When we see this short word help us to pray when it's done. Ladies and gentlemen just listen with your heart tonight to a message simply called if. I look around tonight. I'm sitting in my seat over here and I see so much white hair in the sanctuary. That's a good thing because there's a saying when there's snow on the roof that means there's insulation in the attic. You all have a history with God and if you get to be my age which most of you are or a lot of you are you begin to realize that we've needed mercy. But also not just realizing that we've needed mercy you begin to realize that we serve a God who delights in extending a hand of mercy when his people call out to him. And I don't know of a better audience to be speaking what God put on my heart than this audience tonight. You've stood the test of time. You stood as believers in Jesus Christ. You've stood for good governance. You've stood believing that the freedoms that have been enjoyed in this nation cannot can be maintained and you've stood strong with every organization that you might represent including Family Research Council to take a stand for what is right and what is good. And thank you for that. Thank you all of you. You should give yourself a hand of applause for standing for Christ the way you have. I personally believe that the future of America right now stands on a two-letter word. It's on the foundation of a two-letter word and the word is if. If. Our future, I applaud every effort that we put forward but we are up against a spiritual opposition. Our weaponry is not carnal but it's mighty in God in pulling down strongholds and thoughts that have exalted themselves above the knowledge of Jesus Christ. We are not powerless as the people of God. We have access to the throne of God. The writer of Hebrews tells us to come boldly to the throne of God. That means with confidence to the throne of God to find grace to help in time of need. If ever there was a moment that you and I need to be found at the at the throne room of God, it is now. Not on behalf of ourselves. Most of us are getting near the end of our journey. I shouldn't keep saying that. You're probably thinking I've got a death wish for everybody that's in this room. That's not the case. But we're getting on in years. But there's so many coming behind us that if we choose to abdicate the power that God's given us. We have power in prayer. We have access to the throne of God. And if we abdicate that it's not necessarily we who suffer. It's those coming after us. It's the unborn. It's the newly born. It's our kids in our schools. It's those who are being indoctrinated in our high schools and our colleges against both God and against their country. I want to read to you from 2nd Chronicles chapter 7. A very very well-known. If you've been around the Lord any amount of time you know this passage of Scripture. And I want to use it as a pattern, a type of what God will do and how he will show mercy if we will accept his invitation to come to him and simply ask in faith-believing. In 2nd Chronicles 7 12 the scripture says the Lord appeared to Solomon by night and said to him I've heard your prayer and I've chosen this place for myself as a house of sacrifice. That's the very first thing. The temple, the place that God had chosen where his presence and power were going to dwell was supposed to be a house of sacrifice. Unfortunately in not every case but in many cases in our nation and in the generation we're now living in we have turned the house of God into a house of convenience. It's no longer a house of sacrifice. It's no longer a place where people are brought to the understanding that if any man will be my disciple let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. There's so little of an understanding that the Christian life is not to be lived just for our own benefit, our own personalities, our own aggrandizement, but it's for the sake of others. And when we finally learn that when we're willing to to not just bring our prayers but we bring ourselves with our prayers. I'm 73 years old now and I've just come out of a quite significant heart surgery but I'm more in than I've ever been before. I'm gonna fight for this generation. I'm gonna fight for the young people of this generation. I just flew in from California last night where the first there's several meetings but the first meeting in California 850 high schoolers came out 250 came out of their seats and responded to Jesus Christ. It's time to stand. It's time to speak. The Lord said to Solomon, when I shut up heaven that there is no rain. When I shut up heaven. When there's no open vision as in the days of Eli. When the Word of God is scarce. When there's a lot of theories about God and a lot of pulpits are just talking about principles about God but there's no open heaven. The question is now what is God speaking? Does he speak through people anymore? When the future becomes uncertain and you look today and I don't know if we've ever had a more uncertain future perhaps other than the beginnings of this nation many many years ago but the future today is certainly looking very very uncertain and he goes on and he says when there is no rain or command the locusts to devour the land who can debate with me with any form of honesty that the locusts are not devouring the nation right underneath us right now. Listen to what the Lord said in Deuteronomy 28 to his own people. Now he promised great blessing if you will follow me if you will adhere to what I say if you will worship me as God if you will not have false gods in your life and he talked about all these blessings that are going to overtake you and in in reality the things in Deuteronomy 28 the blessings really did overtake this nation. There's no doubt about it but he also warned he said if you turn away from me I want to read just a just a few things. He said your sons and daughters will be given to another people and your eyes shall look and fail with longing for them all day long and there should be no strength in your hand. Verse 41 of Deuteronomy 28 he says you shall beget sons and daughters but they shall not be yours for they shall go into captivity and so realistically this generation we're looking at now the ones that are not murdered in the womb are being taken captive in an educational system that is completely godless completely against Christ completely against sanity in many cases. He says a nation whom you have not known shall eat the fruit of your land and the produce of your labor and you shall be only oppressed and crushed continually. The alien who is among you shall rise higher and higher above you and you shall come down lower and lower and nobody with sound reasoning can debate with me today that these things are not happening in this nation just as has been foretold in the Word of God. to the people of God of that particular generation. And he said, or if I when I send pestilence among my people. Pestilence means a weakness, an impotence, an inability to reflect the wholesomeness of God and affect our environment. When we think that a hundred and twenty people came out of an upper room and changed the whole known world, and we can have today churches on almost every block in some cities and we don't even affect our communities. Is there a point where we stop and say, God something is wrong. The problem is not with you Lord, the problem is with us. We have embraced something of weakness. Lord, we're sorry for what we've done. Each one of us should be a powerhouse for God. Each one of us should be speaking with an authority that's only given by the Holy Spirit of God. We should stand with the conviction. Each one of us should have a transformed life that is more evidence of the reality of anything we have to say. Our children should see it. Our children's friends should see it. There should be something of God in us and I believe that God's willing to give that back to us again in our generation. If, if, if, if we've come to the point in America where we're the whole future, in my opinion, of the nation is sitting on the foundation of a two-lettered word, if. He says, when I shut up heaven or command the locusts to devour the land or send pestilence among my people, if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and forgive their sin and I will heal their land. If, if we will humble ourselves, if we will admit, if we will admit that we, we've not embraced what God was willing to give us. We've not been the people that God could have made us. We've not interceded for the nation the way we should have. We've not been burdened. We're, we're like the people in Amos chapter 6 where Amos said they, they lay on couches of ivory and they invent new songs to sing and they, they invent new instruments to play with and they anoint themselves with the chiefest of oils. As long as they come out of the, the temple or the church feeling, oh, that was a good time for me. But they're not grieved for the afflictions of Joseph. There's nothing in the heart that cares about a whole generation going into captivity. I spoke recently, just a few years ago, in a small fishing village on the East Coast. Twenty-two hundred people in this, in this village and in a two-year period, 14 teenagers committed suicide. Only 2,200 people in this town and their children are losing heart. And the people got together and they said, speak to us. And we came together in a, in a town hall and there was a lot of gray hair there just like tonight. And I said, first and foremost, grandmas, grandpas, give your lives to Jesus Christ. Don't hold back. Surrender. Yield to him as your Lord and Savior. And then, in the power of God, begin to pray and go get your children and go get your grandchildren. And what a pleasure it was that night to see an altar filled with gray hair of grandmas and grandpas saying, we've abdicated our place and we're going to go back to the throne of God and we're going to pray and we're going to see our children come to God. We are not giving the devil our children any longer. We're standing for truth and for God. My people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways or turn, turn, turn from what has occupied us back to our calling again. We're called to glorify God. We're called to go to the throne of God and pray. And if we do these things, he says, then I will hear from heaven. I'll forgive their sin and I'll heal their land. When, if, then. Three key words. When heaven is shut, the locusts come, pestilence is beginning to affect my own people. If my people who are called will humble themselves and pray, then I will hear from heaven. I'll forgive their sin and I'll heal their land. A friend of mine led a denomination of tens of thousands of churches and we were talking one day and he said, he said, Carter, I'm ashamed. I'm ashamed of the church organization that I belong to. I said, why? He said, we have thousands of churches across the country and I've found 23 prayer meetings in all the thousands of churches, 23 prayer meetings. If my people who are called by my name, here's my challenge to you. If you don't have a prayer meeting in your church, talk to your pastor about starting one and volunteer to lead it. You say, well, I'm not much of a prayer warrior. Well, can you talk? Can you talk? Talk to God. Just go to God and say, God, our children are dying in their streets. Have mercy, Lord. Empower us with the Holy Spirit. Give us the grace that we need to be the people you've called us to be. And if, if the church is not interested, start a prayer meeting in your home. I'm serious about this. Find two or three friends who want to pray and get together and begin to pray. I was years ago in Kingston, Jamaica, where in the inner core of that city, there was a community of 100,000 people, all 100% unemployed, 100% controlled by drug gangs, 100% given to violence. In the, in the field that separated these communities, there had been 800 murders in 30 years. And a 10th, then some, some mothers, some grandmothers, just a few of them, they pitched a tent on this killing field and they said, enough killing, enough of our children being taken captive. We're going to camp here until God comes. And a revival hit that area. The power of evil was broken. Industry came, employment came, education came, churches were birthed. Some grandmothers pitched a tent, began to pray and God did a miracle. If my people, if my people, if you don't have to be mighty, you don't have to be noble. You don't have to be of royal birth. You just have to be able to breathe. You know, Christ is savior and you know that you're invited to the throne of God and you're willing to live for something higher than just comfort, which I believe you are. You wouldn't be here. You wouldn't be here if you didn't care. But the question tonight is, do we care enough to pray? Pray first, then vote, then stand. But pray, pray, pray for God's direction. Pray for his power. Pray for his provision. Pray for, pray for a miracle in the, pray for spiritual awakening in this country. It is the only thing in my opinion that's going to save us now. Pray for spiritual awakening. God, you've come before. Come again. Sweep our communities. Come into our streets. Invade our schools. Heal our homes. Bring our children back. Bring our prodigal sons and daughters home. Move upon them, Holy Spirit. God still is God. He can still do that. Sorry if I'm yelling at you, but I'm passionate about this. And the Lord concludes when he speaks to Solomon. He says, Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayer that's made at this place. For now I've chosen and sanctified this house that my name may be there forever, and my eyes and my heart will be there perpetually. By the way, I got a call just a few days ago from a pastor in Eastern Canada, and he told me that at a recent gathering of high schoolers, 3,000, 3,000 teenagers met together, fell to their knees, and begged God for a spiritual awakening in the nation. How much more when those of us who have walked with God, those of us who know it's all by grace, those of us who know that, yes, we've failed a thousand times a thousand times, but every time we've approached him, he's forgiven us and given us the grace to be here tonight and to stand. How much more those of us who have a history with God can go to the throne of grace and pray down a visitation of God one more time, one more time in America. It's time for one more great awakening in this nation, in my opinion, one great spiritual awakening. He says, now my eyes are open, now my ears are listening to the prayer that is made in this place, for I've chosen and sanctified this house, and my name may be there forever, and my eyes and my heart will be there perpetually, which means forever. Now I'm waiting, now I'm listening. Have we arrived at a now moment in this nation? Is God waiting for us to pray? Is God waiting for the cry? Something that's deeper than just, Lord bless the food. Do you understand? God save our children. God drive this darkness into the sea, God almighty, this nation was birthed to bring glory to the name of Jesus Christ, let us fulfill our calling now. We know, we know it's not by might, it's not by power, it's by the spirit of God that this will happen. Have mercy, Lord. My prayer is now continuously, for the sake of Jesus Christ, God, send the Holy Spirit one more time. Invade the places we can't go in. We began to pray, we fasted and prayed as a church several years ago that the iron gates of our Ivy League schools would open to the gospel of Jesus Christ, and now we're going in. Yale, Princeton, Cornell, we're going into all these colleges now to preach the gospel, and they're coming forward by the hundreds. Pray, pray, pray, pray, pray, pray, pray, because God is able. God answers prayer. Let it be God, let it be all God. Let that be our testimony in the future. Yeah, we stood, we voted, we did what we knew to do, but we prayed, and God came, and God did what only God can do. Now, God says, I'm waiting. Now, I want to ask you to do something. Let's all stand in just a moment, take the hand of the person beside you, and let's begin to pray. Call out for your children, call out for the nation, call out for the unborn, call out for our schools, call out for morality, just call out to God. Can we do that? Can we do that? Will God hear our voice tonight? Lift it up to him. Let's stand. Begin to pray right now. Just start calling out to God. Everyone in this sanctuary, lift your voice. Nobody's silent. Nobody sits on this meeting. Every voice counts. Hallelujah. Lift your voice to God as if you're desperate for this generation. Thank you, Jesus. Oh, God, thank you. God, thank you. You hear the prayers of your children, the prayers of your saints tonight. Oh, Jesus Christ. We turn to you, Lord, and we ask you, God, to do what only you can do. Set this nation free. Forgive us, God, for the way we have dealt so casually with the calling you put upon us. Forgive us, Lord, for seeking. We refuse to be silent. God, if the lies are getting louder, then we're going to pray all the more. God, we're going to cry out for mercy. Son of David, have mercy on this generation. Son of David, have mercy on us in our blindness, oh God. Lord, in our apathy. Lord, where we have gone passive, oh God. Lord, light a fire in your church again. Jesus, baptize us afresh in the power of your Holy Spirit, that we will have the power to stand between the living and the dead. To stand, oh God, between the living and the dead, and to stop the plague. To stop the plague of mindlessness, the plague of despair, the plague that denies natural love for father and for mother and for brother and for sister. God, we are watching your image be assaulted. No more of the image of God being assaulted. No more, oh God. No more, oh God. Fill us with authority again. Fill us with authority, Lord Jesus Christ. God, we long for you. Lord, we need freedom. We need freedom in the church again, oh God. Lord, there are too many chains in the house of God. There are too many unopened prison doors in the house of God. Lord Jesus, God, I think of that man in Mark 1, demon possessed and sinning in the synagogue, Sabbath after Sabbath, sinning under powerless preaching, no anointing, no presence. But when you came, you came, and you spoke of your kingdom, and that spirit was agitated. The darkness was moved. God, put that kind of authority in the pulpits again. Put that kind of anointing in the pulpits again, oh God. No more powerless preaching. Jesus, fill us. Fill pastors across this nation, across this land, oh God. Fill your house with prayer. God, put men of God back in the prayer closet again. No more AI-generated sermon. No more preaching slop. God, we need heaven open. We need a word. We need a word from heaven, oh God. Speak to us. Speak to us, oh Lord. No more trendy worship teams bent on entertainment. God, fall in worship times, oh God. Lord, let this singing, let this singing be like that of Jehoshaphat when he was besieged by his enemies, and the Levites and the priests went before the army, and the enemy was turned back in defeat. God Almighty, do it again. Do it again, oh God, in the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. God, you're able. Jesus, you're able, oh God. Wake us up, oh Lord. Wake us up, oh God. Fill us with your burden, oh Lord. God, wherever we've been distracted, oh God, begin in my own heart, Lord, wherever my gaze has shifted to other things, oh God, where we have become worshipers of convenience, oh God, where we have fallen in love with comfort. Lord, shake us up again, oh God. Lord, we don't want conviction that passes after this night is over. God, I wanna wake up tomorrow morning urged to pray in my spirit, oh God, not driven by guilt, not driven, oh God, by some sense of condemnation, but God, because we've laid hold of your heart, because we've seen this world with your eyes, and we want the things that you want, because we burn for your kingdom to come. We burn, oh God, for the lost to be saved and the bride of Christ to be made spotless again. Jesus, unite our hearts to yours, oh God. We love you. We love you, Lord. We thank you in Jesus' name. Hallelujah. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, God. Oh God, oh God, oh God, we just bow before you right now, God. We bow before you, oh Lord, God, and we see tonight, God, your Holy Spirit has revealed every place, Lord, where we've stopped short, God, of all that you've had for us, God. Lord, as your people, God, Lord, you left us here on earth for a purpose, God, and that's for our brothers and sisters around us, for those that you created all around us, God. Lord, that are dying in sin, God, that are being overwhelmed by the enemy, but Lord, you left us on earth, God, to be your mouthpiece, God, Lord, to be your hands, to be your feet, but Holy Spirit, we need you. We need you, we need you, we need you, Holy Spirit. We need you to come and to transform us over into our minds tonight. Oh, God, help us, God, not to stop short of everything that you have for us, God. Lord, in your kingdom, God, Lord, for those that are around us, Lord, your word said, Lord, that this is the church, Lord, and Lord, the gates of hell cannot stand against it. That's an offensive word. We come right now, God, and we ask you to make us an offensive church, Lord, going past, Lord, the gates of hell, Lord, retrieving that which you've called for yourself, God, Lord, that which is yours, God, Lord, those that are weak, God, those that are too young, God, those that are helpless, those that are overwhelmed, those that are overcome, God, those that are bound, oh, God, oh, God, we need you, Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, would you come right now and equip us, Lord, equip us, God, enable us. Give us a heart, God, that wants your heart. Lord, give us a life that wants your life, God. Lord, and as we come to you and we ask you, God, Lord, we have no doubt, God, we have no doubt, God, Lord, that you're gonna help us, Holy Spirit, to apprehend everything that we've been apprehended for, God, Lord, and we're asking for souls. God, we're asking for souls. God, we're asking for the young, God, that are so confused, God, Lord, that are being told lies every day, God. Lord, let your people stand in truth, God. Help us, Holy Spirit, to stand in truth, God. Lord, to shine your truth, God. We ask that you do this, God. Lord, you said, Lord, you would hear us. God, then you'd forgive us. Lord, then you would heal the land. Would you do that? Oh, God, we're asking you, God. Lord, we're done trying to be all proper. Lord, trying to be all polite, God. We need you. We need you, God. We need you, Holy Spirit. Hallelujah, Jesus. Hallelujah. Father God, we just come before you. We thank you, Lord God, that we can stand in your presence, oh God, with boldness, oh God. Thank you for what you did at the cross, oh God. You did everything that we have need of at the cross. You said it is finished, oh God. Deliverance for our children, oh God, for our grandchildren, Lord God. Father, we pray for our prodigal sons and daughters, oh God, and we ask that you would go after them, Lord God. Don't let them stay where they're at, oh God. Bring them home, oh God, in the mighty name of Jesus, every one of them, Lord God. Father God, you said you would leave the 99 and go after that one. Father, go after our children, our grandchildren, Father God, the prodigal sons. All of our people, oh God, in the mighty name of Jesus, because there's nothing impossible for you. You are the God of the impossible, oh God, and we stand in boldness, oh God, because we know you have finished the work at the cross, oh God, and there is deliverance and healing, oh God. Father, help us to walk in the authority you have given us, oh God, that when we lay hands on people, they'll be healed because of your Holy Spirit, oh God, in the mighty name of Jesus. When we pray for them, they'll be delivered because of you, Lord God, in the mighty name of Jesus, oh God. Father, let there be another axe, like in the book of Acts, let there be another axe here, Father God, in our time, Lord God, where we see it, oh God. You said we would see signs and wonders would follow, Lord God. We want to see them, not just to see them, but that your name would be glorified, oh God, that your name would be glorified, oh God, and that they would see that there's a distinction between the people that you choose, oh God, in the name of Jesus in the world, oh God, so that they can want what we have, oh God, in the mighty name of Jesus, oh God. I thank you, Lord Jesus. We thank you, Lord God, and we know, Lord God, that you're moving even now, Lord God. We thank you, Lord God, that you are touching those who are watching, oh God. You are saving, you are delivering, you're breaking chains right now in the name of Jesus, oh God, and we thank you, Father God. We thank you, Lord God, and we leave everything in your hands, knowing, Lord God, that you have heard us and you are going to answer, Father God. Thank you, in Jesus's name, Jesus's name, hallelujah. Father, we just ask you tonight, Lord, you heard the cry of your people and you sent Moses to bring them out of captivity and into freedom. Lord, you hear the cry, you hear the cry of a generation that's been robbed of truth, you hear the cry, Lord. You even hear the cry of children who haven't been allowed to be born into this generation. God Almighty, you hear the cry and the anguish, Lord, of the adults, Lord, who are addicted to themselves even. Father, we're asking you tonight, in the name of Jesus Christ, send the Holy Spirit again. Send the Holy Spirit. Send the Holy Spirit to your church and raise up your people. Raise up a testimony. Send the Holy Spirit into our streets, our schools, our homes. Bring the conviction of God, Lord, on this generation and turn us from our sin and turn us back to you, Lord. Send another awakening to this nation, Lord. God, it can't be said of you that somebody cried and you refused to hear. You said in Psalm 107, then they cried and the Lord broke their bars and their chains and God brought them home, gave them a clear path, brought them to a city they've always longed to dwell in. That's who you are. That's what you do, Lord. So in your name, in the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Son of God, we ask you, Father, send the Holy Spirit. Send your Holy Spirit. We recognize we don't deserve it. We can't earn it, Lord God, but because of the cross of Jesus Christ, that is our ground upon which we ask. It's upon the ground of your mercy and your willingness even to sacrifice your only Son that we might have life. God Almighty, for the sake of Jesus, send the Holy Spirit again to this nation. Lord, we yield our bodies to you for this purpose. We yield our futures. We yield our freedom. We yield everything to you, God, for this purpose. Lord Jesus Christ, send your Holy Spirit. Send your Holy Spirit. Send your Holy Spirit. Send your Holy Spirit. Send your Holy Spirit. Oh, God, send the Holy Spirit to this generation. Send your Spirit into our homes tonight. Those that are listening that are captivated and addicted, God, send your Holy Spirit into those places right now and set them free. Lord, thank you, God, for hearing this cry. Thank you for hearing the cry of your people. Lord, we believe we trust. We trust, Lord, that our cry is not in vain, and it hasn't come from human emotion. It's come from an inner prompting of the Holy Spirit. I know it in my heart, oh, God. It's you that's prompting us to cry out on behalf of those that have no voice to cry for themselves. Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ, that you will answer us. Thank you, Lord, for the cry that's in our pastor, Tim Delina, Lord, for another baptism of the Holy Spirit upon this generation. God, we stand with our pastor, and we thank you for it. Oh, Jesus Christ, for what you're about to do in this time. Oh, God. Oh, God. Oh, God. Oh, God. You're a God of mercy. You invited us to come boldly to the throne of grace to find help. We're not looking for help for ourselves. We're looking for help for those that have no helper. We're looking for the widow, the orphan. We're looking, God, for those that are imprisoned, those that are addicted and afflicted and despairing and they have no hope. We're crying out on their behalf, oh, God. Lord, that you would come. You would come. You would come. You would come and do what only you can do. Lord, we thank you and we praise you in Jesus' mighty name. We're not going to leave the attitude of prayer tonight, but I'm going to ask you to get some bread and some juice at home, and we're going to come and have communion together, and we're going to celebrate the basis upon which we have access to the throne of God, the basis upon which we can pray and somehow believe that God's going to answer us tonight. So while this song is being sung, please do in your homes, get some bread, some juice. And if you haven't given your life to Jesus, your heart, do it right now. Let's pray a simple prayer. Lord Jesus, thank you for dying for me so that I could be forgiven. God, I open my heart to you and I receive you as my Lord and Savior. Let that be your prayer tonight. Just do that before we go to the communion table. And ask God for a miracle. Say, Lord, deliver me tonight. Set me free. Start a work in my family. Bring my children home. Do something, God, that can only be attributed to you. And the one thing that I can promise God, and I'm asking you to do it too as well, that when he does it, give him the glory because we know what we are without him. When he does a miracle, be sure to follow at his feet and worship him. Be back in just a second. God bless you.
