Gameweek twenty-five is nearly done, and with the Gameweek twenty-six deadline hitting Tuesday at six p m, we've got a massive midweek double gameweek ahead. Let's get straight into it.
First up, the news bulletin. Three critical items for your midweek planning. Starting with Arsenal, where Trossard picked up a muscle injury against Sunderland. He's listed as doubtful with a seventy-five percent chance of playing. He managed eighty-eight minutes and bagged an assist in the three-nil win, but this is a concern ahead of their double against Brentford. Monitor the pressers closely. Second, Chelsea news. Palmer is quote still not there according to reports, despite his incredible hat-trick against Wolves. Manager Liam Rosenior is managing his minutes carefully, bringing him off after sixty minutes. With Chelsea facing Leeds on Tuesday, rotation risk is real for the ten point four million midfielder. Third, James remains unavailable for Chelsea, while Rice picked up defensive contribution points for Arsenal and looks nailed for their double.
Right, let's hit the top three transfers in for Gameweek twenty-six. Number one, it's Palmer at Chelsea. Ten point four million pounds, twelve point five percent owned, and sixty-one thousand transfers in this week. The verdict here is complicated. Twenty points in Gameweek twenty-five with a hat-trick off the bench in sixty minutes is extraordinary. That's seven goals in just fourteen appearances this season. Chelsea face Leeds at home on Tuesday, where Leeds shipped four to Arsenal recently. But here's the problem: he's still being managed carefully and played just an hour. For a double gameweek with Leeds and then nothing special, Palmer is a good punt for the brave, but wait if you want guaranteed minutes. I'm saying good for a one-week hit, but monitor team news obsessively.
Number two, Bruno Fernandes. Nine point eight million pounds, thirty-four percent owned, ninety thousand transfers flooding in. He's in ridiculous form with ten points against Spurs, scoring and keeping a clean sheet. That's six goals and twelve assists this season, averaging six point four points per game. Man Utd face West Ham away on Tuesday, and while that's not the easiest fixture, Bruno is on penalties, free kicks, and everything else under interim boss Michael Carrick. Eight point eight expected points for Gameweek twenty-six. The verdict: essential. If you don't own him, fix that before Tuesday's deadline. He's the most in-form midfielder in the game right now.
Number three, Rogers from Aston Villa. Seven point six million pounds, twenty-nine point nine percent owned, twenty-five thousand transfers in. He bounced back with ten points against Bournemouth, scoring and picking up three bonus. That's eight goals and five assists this season. Villa host Brighton on Wednesday, and Rogers is central to everything Villa create under Unai Emery. At this price with Villa's decent fixtures, the verdict is buy. He's slightly under-owned for his output and offers a strong mid-price option with upside. Lock him in if you need a Villa attacker.
Now the transfers out. Number one, Madueke at Arsenal, six point eight million pounds. Here's the confusion: he's listed at Arsenal but only managed fifty-nine minutes against Sunderland with one point. With just one goal and one assist all season, he's simply not delivering at two point three points per game. Nine thousand are shipping him out, and with Arsenal's double coming up, he's not getting near the starting eleven ahead of their better options. Verdict: sell immediately. Use that money elsewhere.
Number two, Martinelli, also Arsenal. Six point eight million pounds, zero point nine percent owned. He came off the bench for thirty minutes and grabbed an assist for four points, but that's all he is now: a bench option. One goal and three assists in nineteen games is nowhere near good enough. With Trossard doubtful, you might think Martinelli gets a start, but Arsenal have better options and he's averaging one point nine per game. Verdict: sell. Even at this price, he's not worth the risk.
Number three, Scott from Bournemouth. Five million pounds, zero point seven percent owned. Just two points against Villa despite playing the full ninety. While he's cheap and offers a playing bench option, Bournemouth's fixtures aren't great with Everton away on Tuesday. He's got two goals and two assists all season. Six thousand are selling, and honestly, if you need funds and have him, the verdict is sell. There are better enablers out there who offer more upside.
Differential time. Three quick-fire picks under ten percent ownership. First, Rayan from Bournemouth. Five point five million, just zero point one percent owned. Nine points against Villa with a goal and two bonus. He's only played two games, but if he's nailed, this is a bargain midfielder with attacking threat. Bournemouth face Everton and West Ham next. Worth a punt for the truly differential seekers.
Second, Hill from Bournemouth. Three point nine million defender, one point six percent owned. Seven points with an assist in the draw. He's got two assists this season despite being a defender, and at three point nine, he's an absolute bargain enabler who actually plays and contributes. Fourteen thousand have brought him in. If you need defensive funds freed up, Hill is your man.
Third, O Dango from Brentford. Five point eight million, zero point four percent owned. Twelve points against Newcastle with a goal, an assist, and two bonus. That's five goals and five assists this season. Brentford face Arsenal away on Thursday, which is tough, but he's clearly on form and criminally under-owned. A tasty differential if you're chasing in mini-leagues.
Captaincy for Gameweek twenty-six? It has to be Bruno Fernandes against West Ham. He's the most in-form player in the game, takes everything for Man Utd, and has eight point eight expected points. If you're brave, Palmer at home to Leeds is the high-risk, high-reward pick, but only if he's confirmed to start. Play it safe with Bruno.
One key tip: Don't panic sell Joao Pedro despite the eight points. He got two assists against Wolves and faces Leeds at home. Forty-two percent own him, seventy-nine thousand brought him in, and he's averaging four point nine per game with nine goals and seven assists. Chelsea have a great fixture. Hold and captain Bruno instead.
