What is Podcast Pulse?

Justin Jackson (co-founder of Transistor.fm) shares candid reflections on the podcast ecosystem: the future of audio, video, and RSS, for podcast creators, industry insiders, and curious listeners alike.

Justin Jackson:

Hey, friends. This is Justin Jackson from transistor.fm. And this is the Podcast Pulse Podcast. And it's just a place for me to share my current thoughts on the podcast industry, on being a podcaster, on where the trends are headed, what is the future of podcasting, what is the future of RSS, what is the future of audio based podcasting, What's the future video? And I just wanted a place where I could post regular honest thoughts about how I'm thinking about all of this.

Justin Jackson:

So if you're in the industry, you'll probably find it interesting. If you're a podcast creator, I think you'll also find it interesting and maybe even podcast consumers will have something to say. The show is available wherever you get your podcasts, Apple Podcast, Spotify. But there's also a video version on YouTube. Actually, there will be a video version wherever you can get video podcasts.

Justin Jackson:

So Spotify, Apple Podcast, HLS. I'll be posting both audio and video. I'm mostly just recording this show for me to process my own thoughts. But if it sounds interesting to you, subscribe and you'll get to hear my unfiltered reflections and ruminations on what's happening right now in the podcast space.
