Hi, it's Dayna, and I'm here with your divination
for the full moon in sidereal Gemini. The 2026
Sidereal Astrology Guide says, Reconciling
the Contradictions Between Words and Intention.
So this is the 2026 Sidereal Astrology Guide.
This is the ninth annual edition of your
personal horoscope workbook. The best thing
about this is you actually need to know nothing
about astrology. I'm the expert. I know all
the things, so I put them in this book for
you. I'll walk you through the personal application
of one year of astrology month by month, transit
by transit, so you can get a personal feel for
what each month and each week brings for you.
I've got some evergreen content in here, such
as all of this dope information about each
of the signs, what their ideal is, what their
task is. And this is a way for you to get started
with sidereal and really begin to understand
what it means for you, not just in the static
sense of what your sign is, but how you are
living this astrology every single day. And
I'm a guide and walk you through it. One thing
about today is I got notes. I don't never have
notes. I'd just be going with the flow. I'd
just be channeling and divining in real time.
But I had to do my best Gemini impression today
and have some notes. When I see clients and
they on the other side of that Zoom, all the
Geminis, Gemini, moon, sun, rising, don't care
what it is, Mars, first thing they do is pull
out that notebook and a pen so that they could
take notes. Because one thing about Gemini,
they are studious. They are going to be thorough
to make sure they don't miss anything because
Gemini really wants to know, they want to understand.
So I'm doing my best Gemini impersonation today
by having some notes prepared. This full moon
is in Sidereal Gemini and the sky is all mutable.
save for the nodes. Everything is in one of
the mutable signs. You've got Sun, Mercury,
Venus, and Mars in sidereal Sagittarius. We've
got Jupiter in sidereal Gemini, and we've got
Saturn in sidereal Pisces. The only sign that's
not occupied right now is Virgo, but don't you
worry. Give it a week, the moon will be there,
and we'll have all four mutable signs occupied.
key word for mutable is contradiction. The
question is how do I know what I know? What
faculty of mine, what resource or tool shall
I use to discern truth, know, understand,
or make it make sense? Each of the four mutable
signs is using a different tool. in order to
know, in order to understand, in order to make
sense, depending on what their goal is. The
goal of Jupiter, which is running the show
right now, is make it make sense. Jupiter
is all about how do I make it make sense? How
do I connect the dots? In absence of all of
the information or data points, or in order
to draw an assumption or conclusion, based
on a singular data point piece of information,
how do I do that? Jupiter is like, I need to
make it make sense, and I need to make it
make sense with the information that I have
on hand, even if some of it is missing. so
Sagittarius will bring its existing beliefs
and assumptions. I talked about this in episode
14, but Sagittarius will bring its existing
beliefs and assumptions. And Jupiter's placement
in your birth chart is actually telling you
what are your baseline assumptions that you
bring to a situation where you're lacking certainty.
What is your relationship with certainty or
uncertainty? That's what Jupiter is telling
you. So Jupiter is in charge of the sky right
now. And when Jupiter is in charge, that means
your Jupiter placement is highlighted. I have
some specific things that I wanna read and share
today. One is gonna be from the 2025 guide,
even though it's 2026. And another is just a
short list of things that I've written and
they might be a little bit redundant, but that's
okay. Before I read these things, I want to
say that one of the phrases or ways that you
can understand this immutable moment is with
this question, how do I know who or what to
believe? That is the thing right now. How
do I know who or what to believe when we have
mainstream media very openly being bought
by millionaires and billionaires and very openly
controlling what type of information we're
exposed to, what type of information goes on
the air? who gets to speak, what do they
get to say, how do they get to say it, and when
do they have to say it. In the age of AI,
where videos, you cannot tell if something
is AI or not. You cannot tell if something
is AI generated. Matter of fact, there was
a video going around of a New Year's uh celebration,
alleged to be in Brooklyn or New York, I believe.
It showed these images of a fireworks display
going on in New York, but it was not real, right?
And many people believed that. They believed
that there was a real celebration going on in
New York and that caused all kinds of confusion.
This is really important, what I'm about to
say. It is probably one of the most important
things that I will say in 2026. And so you need
to listen and you need to write this down
and commit this to memory. I've said this before,
so this might be repetition to some people.
European culture, the Western cultural values
that have their roots, honestly, primarily
in Victorian era Europe. That's really where
a lot of our cultural norms in the West come
from. It is where the dominant cultural values
and dynamics come from in the West. This has
been a culture that prioritizes the sense of
sight as the primary way to know what is real.
to know what is fact and to know what is true.
The sense of sight has been the primary way
that the West has organized its social hierarchies.
its material hierarchies and its relationship
to the earth.
European colonizers. weaponized our sense of
sight against us.
They weaponized our sense of sight against us
in two ways. One. through identity, European
colonizers and all of their descendants across
the world who continue on in both spirit and
work of what they begun.
all prioritize the sense of sight as a means
to determining someone's identity and subsequently
as a means to placing them in a hierarchy of
power or dominance. This might be getting too
deep for some of y'all, but you need to write
it down, take notes, look up the words you
don't understand, and then get with your homies
and discuss it so that you can really get
this knowledge that I'm dropping on you. The
sense of sight, our sense of sight has been
weaponized against us by European colonizers
and the social dominant force of whiteness.
by convincing us with violence. that your eyes
are the means by which you must identify yourself
and each other. And once you have identified
yourself and others, that identity will be
used in a hierarchy of dominance. So when you
ask somebody, what's your gender? Are you a
boy or a girl? Right then and there, that is
evidence that you have been colonized and conditioned
to prioritize your sense of sight over all
others in order to relate to other people.
What are you black? What are you mixed with?
What is your ethnicity? Again, you have been
colonized and conditioned to prioritize your
sense of sight over all others as a means
to identify other people. And that need to identify
other people is so that you can place them
in a hierarchy of dominance.
This is coming to an end. It is rapidly concluding.
This era where the sense of sight is prioritized
over all others and weaponized against ourselves
and each other is coming to an end. All things
come to an end. All eras come to an end. I
need you to imagine a time before photographs,
a time before moving pictures, a time before...
you know, uh cameras really, a time before
television. I need you to understand a time
before European colonization. I need you to
understand that everything that occurs on the
other side of European colonization, everything
that occurs on the other side of the advent
of the photograph, the television, the film,
mainstream media and news media that prioritizes
photographs and film or video, everything
on the other side of that. is a world that
sees every other sense and means of engaging
socially and with the world as weak and inferior.
This can be summed up to say that we have been
colonized and conditioned to believe what we
are told to see. This era is coming to an end.
this era where we do not value our ears, we
do not value our sense of feeling in place
and space where we do not value our body and
bodily functions, our feelings, our sensations.
When we don't value those things because our
sense of sight is weaponized against us. AI
is killing it. the most logical, ultimate
conclusion of a violent culture that weaponizes
the sense of sight in order to maintain social
and economic hierarchies is that we get AI.
Because AI's function Where it's ultimately
going, where it is, is that I can fabricate
images and videos where you cannot tell the
difference between a fake one and a real one.
They have been feeding us AI-generated videos
of Trump since he has been in office. And nobody
is saying anything. Nobody is questioning
it. And if there's something you should be terrified
of, it's that. That you are being fed images.
that are not real and you can't tell.
And where that goes and how that, you know.
progresses. only makes that question I asked
at the beginning even more relevant. How do
you know who to believe? How do you know what
to believe? That is the question of this moment.
It's a question of 2026 and it's a question
of this full moon. Let me get to my notes here.
We're at the full moon in Gemini reconciling
the contradictions between words and intention.
And I want to just read. This passage, this
is from the May monthly summary of the 2025
guide, ripped to the monthly summaries. Because
they are not in the 2026 version, but this is
so cute. It's so cute. You see the difference?
Anyways. So Jupiter is in Gemini at this full
moon. I've talked about Jupiter, what it means
earlier in this episode, and I talked about
it ruling the sky right now. So I'm gonna read
this passage that I wrote about Jupiter in Gemini
and kind of what we could expect from it. During
Jupiter in Gemini, May 2025 through June 2026,
we prejudge based on words, language, knowledge,
information, media. technology and communications.
Skepticism is turned inward toward existing
knowledge and assumptions. We are prejudiced
towards our inner certainty and confidence
in the meaning we make on our own. This can
make us gullible and vulnerable to overt lies.
We might believe the story that is narrated
for us by external sources without checking
to see if it resonates with our own truth. However,
this gives us the opportunity to change outworn
belief systems and to make flexible our rigid
prejudices.
This moment is about.
really sitting with the fact that you cannot
take some things at face value. that some things
are not what they appear to be. And often, when
we don't take things at face value, when we're
skeptical about what we see, when we have suspicion
towards what's being presented to us, we tend
to fill in the blanks or apply our conditioning.
We tend to fill in the blanks and apply our
indoctrination. But this full moon in this
moment is saying, wait, before you project
onto this thing you're seeing, hearing, witnessing,
experiencing, what you already believe to be
true. Consider the possibility that there is
something new to know. And when you know this
new thing, this can actually change what it
is that you know and believe to be true. Can
it change your existing assumptions and belief
systems? Just a list of words and possibilities.
This applies to this full moon, but it also
applies to...
let's say three months from now, three months
after that, right? So we're talking March,
April, and then June, July. Those are gonna
be during a Pisces stellium. And then during
the summer, we have a mercury retrograde that
is partially in Gemini. So number one on this
list is the high likelihood of misunderstanding
in communication right now. And the misunderstanding
in this communication is because... What you
hear and what was said don't always line up.
And that's because we listen through a filter
of our own prejudices and biases. So the misunderstanding
comes because you automatically assume that
somebody means something that they did not
mean. The medicine for that is curiosity and
asking questions. When you find yourself reacting,
when you find yourself having a heightened emotional
response, when you're getting defensive, when
you feel the need to convince and that gets
turned up really, really loud, consider the
possibility that there might be a misunderstanding.
Consider the possibility that y'all just might
not be hearing each other because you just have
a different vantage point that you're coming
from. That different vantage point can be a
different set of experiences that have shaped
the way that you hear and receive new information.
How do you hear and receive new information?
I feel like that's a question I don't ask enough
on here, particularly when it relates to Gemini
and our natal mercury placement, right? I'm
not gonna get too deep into that now, but let's
go to number two, lies uncovered. I think that
the hardest thing for humans to... process
is the fact that they've been lied to. Because
people perceive being lied to as a statement
about their intellectual capacity rather than
a statement about the lying party's duplicitous
nature, rather than a statement about the intention
to deceive for the purposes of domination and
controlling.
A lot of people say, you lied to me. What do
you think I'm stupid? They may or may not think
you're stupid. They just might have an insatiable
hunger to dominate through deception. Next
on this list is truth realized. Truth realized
means suddenly the dots are connecting for
you. um Would you look at that? Suddenly it
makes sense. Suddenly you are able to uh optimize
skepticism as a tool that protects you from
being lied to and protects you from lying to
yourself. How about that? Felt that one in Machando.
Next is beliefs changed. This is ongoing. This
has been going on since October of 2023 when
the whole moment of realizing the truth
about Israel, realizing the truth about Palestine,
came online for us, was a confluence of circumstances
that opened the door for us to change our belief
systems. And that set of circumstances had
to do with George Floyd, it had to do with the
pandemic, it had to do with social media.
And now we're here continuing this work of beliefs
changed. If you don't believe that people can
change their beliefs en masse, I want you to
remember what happened in October, 2023 and
how it seems like overnight the public sentiment
and belief around Israel and Palestine changed.
70 plus years of propaganda thrown off.
Looked like it was overnight, it wasn't, but
there were a confluence of factors. We're continuing
that in this moment, in this season, in 2026.
Finally, propaganda.
Nobody, and I mean nobody believes they're
being fed propaganda. I mean, I won't say nobody,
there are some people who know they're being
fed propaganda. I would say most people have
no idea that they are being fed propaganda.
whole entire United States education propaganda.
um My God. Shout out to Dominique Morgan for
shifting the culture. Gotta love a Black trans
woman for really just having the power to...
shift language. Anyways, yeah, propaganda.
One of the things I learned, and I believe this
was either while I was working on the 2025
Sidereal Astrology Guide or the 2026 Sidereal
Astrology Guide, probably the 2025, because
I think it's in the 2025 guide somewhere, that
during World War I and World War II, the United
States government created offices of propaganda.
They got real sophisticated with it around
World War II to the point that the propaganda
narratives that took root around World War
II are ongoing. When you see films glorifying
the military might of America, when you see
films and television glorifying the police,
when you see film and television, you know,
glorifying American supremacy, that's all propaganda.
Because the way that you can tell whether something
is propaganda is by asking this question. Is
this source willing to tell an unflattering
truth about themselves? Is this source... able
to tell the story that contradicts the one
that they want to believe about themselves.
Is the United States education system able
to tell a story about America that contradicts
the story that America wants to believe about
itself? If the answer to that is no, it's propaganda.
Is the news media, is the news source that you
read or watch able to tell an unflattering
story about themselves and about America that
contradicts the story that they want you to
believe about them? If the kid is propaganda.
This thing with AI-generated videos and the
sense of sight as the primary way of interfacing
with the world being in decline is so important
because what arises in its place is significant
to pay attention to and be intentional about.
Because at the same time we have AI-generated
videos that it's very hard to distinguish between
real and fake, we also have AI-generated clinical
journals that are infiltrating the um research
world where there are papers, peer reviewed,
referencing clinical trials and articles
that do not exist and they're published and
they're in people's PhD stuff.
In this climate, we have to have a twofold strategy
to reconcile the contradiction between words
and intention because the words are what you
read and the meaning you glean from it, but
the intention is behind how it was created and
what that intention was meant to bring from
out you. So we have to have a two-pronged strategy.
One is having a right relationship with
skepticism, understanding that skepticism and
suspicion are meant to protect you from being
lied to. but you also have to remember that
you also need that skepticism to protect yourself
from lying to yourself about yourself. And I
think that's a big moment right now in terms
of opportunities for growth and maximizing
the moment of this full moon. We need to be
skeptical and considering that anything that
you see on that little square screen that you
put in your pocket or purse, or that TV in front
of your face, or your computer or laptop or
tablet. You need to view any image with the
possibility that it could be AI generated,
which means the words that you hear coming out
of somebody's mouth, they may have never uttered.
And the actions that you see somebody taking
with their body may have never happened. Yes,
we need to be pushing towards policy to label
AI. And you know, Donald Trump signed an
executive order. This may have went under the
radar, but he signed an executive order to
try to make it so that states could not develop
their own policies and laws uh regulating AI.
The second pronged approach that we need to
take is honing our other faculties. And the
most important one that we will be honing in
2025, 2026, and 2027 is that of our emotional
intelligence.
How would I define emotional intelligence? I
would not define it as the capacity to intellectually
know what you feel. I would define emotional
intelligence as the ever expanding capacity
to feel. Emotional intelligence and emotional
availability are very much connected to me
because emotional availability is talking about
the range of emotions you have access to. Some
of us don't have access to a wide range of
emotions because some portions of the spectrum
are cordoned off by shame, guilt, trauma, and
fear. Rigid belief systems around identity.
that say because I am an insert gender here,
I don't have access, cannot feel said feelings.
But emotional intelligence, I think, is the
way that that emotional availability manifests
in relationship and community. I can have access
to the wide range of feelings, but does that
not mean that that access has a productive and
constructive influence on my relationships
and my community? So let's say that emotional
availability and emotional intelligence are
two things that 2025, well, we're in 2026, so
2026 and 2027 demand and require of us. We
need to be able to hone in to the physical and
emotional sensation that arises when we encounter
a contradiction. And we need to be able to
sit with that discomfort and uncertainty. And
we need to resist the impulse to let people
who have won capitalism be given the authority
to reconcile contradictions for you. Beyonce
is a billionaire now and many people have come
to know me because I have a viral video that
keeps going viral from 2022 where I expounded
on the class dynamics of celebrity. Right?
And wealth. Many people perceive that I'm coming
for Beyonce, which I don't really care if you
think that, you can think that, but those
who are committed to improving their listening
comprehension will have understood that that
was a class analysis where I was highlighting
the way that celebrities and wealth use parasocial
relationships to disarm you from the righteous
rage you should have because they are hoarding
all of the resources and money. Right? When
we see a Beyonce who is wealthy, there should
be a feeling of a contradiction there. And that
contradiction should first be, wait, why does
Beyonce, why is she a billionaire? And my health
insurance cost just double, tripled or quadrupled.
Contradiction, just sit there. Just sit there
because you're indoctrination. is going to
tell you that those two things are not related.
Sit with the contradiction. Make room for uncertainty.
Because it is only when you make room for uncertainty
that the truth can actually emerge. Yeah, sometimes
the truth is already what you know or what
you believe and that's cool. But in this particular
moment, don't let folks weaponize uncertainty
against you. Be mindful of folks weaponizing
the discomfort of contradictions against you.
So when you get to that contradiction. You have
to sit with it. Because the immediate thing
that you're gonna say, oh, well, she earned
it. There is not an amount of labor or work
you can do. to become a billionaire. Because
if it were, I promise you. that teachers would
be the richest in the world because they're
doing the most work. Parents, primary parents,
which are usually mothers, would be the richest
people in the world. I saw someone did like
a data collection calculation and it was something
like mothers work 101 hours a week. Why is
a mother not a billionaire? Doesn't she work
hard? Make it make sense. Why you want your
mama to be poor? Oof!
your indoctrination is going to tell you that
you too can be a billionaire, you see?
I'm gonna pause here and I'm gonna get my tarot
cards and I'm gonna shuffle them and we gonna
see what the good word is.
All right, I'm back with my tarot cards because
if there's anything that we need right now
is some insight, some wisdom, some guidance
to navigate this moment of an incredible
amount of contradictions and this moment where
it's really, really, really, really difficult
to know who to believe, to know what to believe.
Yeah, and that's why we have divination for
liberation because we're going to define the
patterns so that we can get closer to liberation.
That's why we're here. All right. We've got
the three of swords on the bottom. The three
of swords is cutting through the BS. It is to
cut through the nonsense. It is to... get closer
and closer and closer to the core of some truth.
The three of swords can be breaking up a stalemate,
making a decision of some kind. It can be telling
or realizing an uncomfortable truth. It could
be a truth that severs, a truth that separates,
a truth that changes in some way. Getting to
some truth. The Three of Swords comes after
the Two of Swords. And with the Two of Swords,
it's always like this moment of indecision or
this moment of not having enough information
to make a decision, not having all of the facts,
and so needing to withhold or refrain from
making a decision or forming a judgment. When
we get to the Three of Swords, whatever that
piece of information was that we needed or pieces
of information that we needed, the truth is
there. And I think with the three of swords,
there's this question of like, how does this
piece of information and knowledge change things
for me? How does this break up the stalemate
of indecision in my life? Why does this make
me uncomfortable? What can I do with this uncomfortable
truth? Hopefully the rest of these cards will
give us some insight, right? We've got the
seven of swords. And we've got the two of wands.
This is quite an interesting combination, but
I think totally reflective of what the sky
looks like. We've got these swords, which can
be associated with air and swords are how we
think, how we process. It's prioritizing the
intellect, ration, rationalism, okay. Reason,
logic, words, language. conversation, thinking,
thoughts, ideas, imagination. And that would
correlate to Jupiter in Gemini kind of running
the whole show. Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, and
Saturn are all answering to Jupiter in Gemini.
And Jupiter in Gemini says we understand by
learning more. But we're kind of trapped in
this like ping pong thing because Jupiter is
in Mercury's sign and Mercury is in Jupiter's
sign. We would call that mutual reception,
but opposition is really uncomfortable because
it's a confrontation. And so Jupiter says, okay,
I can be sure once I get some more information,
I can be sure once I have this conversation,
I can be sure once I read this book or ask
this person or take this class or finish this
research. Jupiter and Gemini has a very...
almost unreachable threshold for trusting what
it knows and believing itself. Then we have
Mercury in Sagittarius, and Mercury is the
need to be heard and understood. It is what
do we do with the information? How do we receive
and process information and speak? And in Sagittarius,
Mercury is really hearing. and immediately
interpreting them in accordance with their
own intentions, their own beliefs, their own
convictions. Mercury and Gemini can have trouble
hearing and understanding people because their
own beliefs or need to be believed kind of
get in the way. And so this is why I talked
about this full moon being a moment where misunderstandings
in communication can be... very prominent and
happening. Because our own beliefs about
ourselves, about the way the world works, about
how relationships function, about who we are,
they can be so loud with Mercury and Sagittarius
and all of Mars and Venus and Sun that we can't
even receive the new information and hear it
because it's more important for us to be believed
and it's more important for us to convince.
And so when we get that new information, we
go on the defensive because our existing beliefs
about ourselves, what we're capable of, um
you know, the way the world should work politically,
economic and socially, that kind of gets triggered
where it's like when I even hear this information
that contradicts what I believe to be true
about my self-worth, for example. that is going
to trigger me into defensive mode where I have
to defend myself against this truth, where
I have to convince and make sure that you
know what I believe so that I can feel confident
and believe myself. So we're in this ping pong.
We've got the Seven of Swords, which is about
problem solving. The Seven of Swords for me
is a card about tinkering. and trying to figure
out just the right way to maneuver something,
to say something, to do something, so that
we can get the result we're looking for. I
often see the acquisition of a new skill in
the Seven of Swords, meaning that this card
can come up when we have to solve a problem
we've never solved before. And so as a means
to solving that problem, we have to acquire
knowledge and skills. Then we have the Two
of Wands, and the Two of Wands is about power
dynamics. It's about domination and it's about
dominion. The Two of Wands often comes up in
situations where there are unequal dynamics
in a relationship. uh Particularly one person
may be better at communicating. One person
may be, you know, more aware of the emotional
dynamics. Another person may be better at holding
space. But these power dynamics have to be navigated
carefully because... we often don't recognize
that there's a power dynamic. This is a really
interesting set of cards and I feel like we
really have not seen any of these. Maybe we've
seen the two of wands this year or last year,
but overall this is a really, I would say kind
of tense pairing of cards that is, warning
is a strong word, but I would say drawing attention
to dynamics of domination collectively and
dynamics of domination in our relationships
as it relates to communication, as it relates
to truth, as it relates to uncertainty, as it
relates to contradictions. Contradictions are
not inherently wrong.
A contradiction does not always mean that you're
being lied to.
Even if you hear one thing coming out of someone's
mouth and you see them doing a different action,
it doesn't mean that they're lying to you.
Sometimes they are, but that is why discernment
is like...
This is another one of those tools and skills
that needs to be developed like, you got a
goal to run five miles and you gonna get out
there and you gonna crawl if you gotta crawl,
you gonna walk if you gotta walk, you gonna
jog, you gonna run, you gonna do whatever you
gotta do to reach that goal. We need to have
the same attitude towards discernment.
Discernment is about wisdom and wisdom is about
the right moment of applying what you know.
Wisdom is not knowledge in and of itself. Wisdom
is not experience in and of itself. Wisdom
is the timely application of the right knowledge.
This relates to discernment. because discernment
is about knowing which faculty is the right
faculty to use in order to know what is real
and true. If we over rely on our indoctrination
as a means to knowing what is real and true,
we can never take in new information. We automatically
reject anything that contradicts our indoctrination.
If we only rely on our intuition and our emotions,
we alienate ourselves and become overcomes
with suspicion in a way where nothing can meet
the threshold for truth. If we over rely on
words and our ears and reading and knowledge
from external sources, we distrust our own
experience to the point that it leaves us very
vulnerable to believing lies. And if we only
take things at face value, if we only believe
that things are exactly what they appear to
be and people are exactly who they appear to
be, we also leave ourselves unprotected from
lives. We become, from lies rather, we become
overly literal.
I just described Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini,
and Virgo. Rewind that and listen again. I
think the...
productive and constructive possibilities of
this full moon as illustrated in these cards
have to do with this three of swords of...
decisiveness that comes. from recognizing
truth. decisiveness that comes from our openness
to new information, even if it makes us uncomfortable
because it highlights a contradiction that we
don't know how to navigate. We've got the seven
of swords and the two of wands telling us that
when we open ourselves to this new information
that is likely uncomfortable, when we let curiosity
take us out of the comfort zone of our existing
belief systems, this is where we find the tools
to harness power over ourselves and our lives.
There can be no revolution. collectively or
in your life, unless you change your belief
system.
No substantive change can materialize unless
you are willing to question what it is you
accept as fact or truth.
I think that is a perfect stopping point. Thank
you for tuning in to the Divination for Liberation
podcast. I am Dayna Lynn Nuckolls, also known
as The People's Oracle. This is the portion
of the podcast where I remind you that the
flu is out there. And if you've been a listener
to this podcast, a follower of my work, You
know that I use tools of divination to track
the rise and transmission of infectious diseases.
You will know that I have been concerned about
the flu emerging in some capacity now and in
2026. And while it is not the bird flu that
is spreading human to human that we know of,
There is more flu spreading now in New York
than like anybody should be comfortable with.
And if you're in New York and you're amongst
people, you should be masking. Louisiana, same
for you. Okay? This is not the peak of flu season.
The peak of flu season is February. And the
beginning of February is when the Chinese New
Year switches over. And when the Chinese New
Year switches over to the Yangfire Horse in
February...
We are in the territory of illnesses that affect
the lungs. We are also in the territory that
I've talked about before. I got a tweet about
this from like 2024, where I talked about the
rise of heart-related deaths and illnesses.
So this is heart failure, heart disease, heart
attack. embolisms, strokes, any circulatory
and heart-related disease, 2026 is not a very
good year for that. And do you know what two
widely circulating viruses are known to cause
heart-related illness? the flu. If you look
at data for heart disease rates in the decades
after the 1918 flu, you will see an incredible
increase. in the decades after the 1918 flu
pandemic, because the flu is known to cause
heart issues. You'll also see a rise in schizophrenia.
And there was actually some data that talked
about children of people who survived the 1918
flu pandemic had excess rates of schizophrenia.
Somebody on Instagram is saying, one of the
big brother cast from last year just passed
away from a heart attack flu related. I saw
that story. SARS coronavirus two is a vascular
disease. I know they told you it was like the
flu, but a lot of people died from the flu.
3,100 people at least have died from the flu
in 2025 and this flu season so far into 2026.
So that's a lot of people. And this is not the
peak. So all of that to say, It's probably
a really good idea to mask, especially if you're
on an airplane, especially if you're in a place
that has questionable ventilation. Before I
go, one important thing that I've been thinking
about is a lot of people over the course of
my years of making very accurate predictions
about COVID waves has asked me, when will it
end and how will it end? Once this threat of
bird flu came online, which was in about 2023,
2024, the possibility that something else would
occur like a flu pandemic, epidemic, bird flu
going human to human that we would have to
respond to in a way that would somehow end COVID.
What has happened right now is that we let
COVID run rampant to the point that it kind
of ran out of mutational space, so to speak.
part of the reason why we're not... seeing
those huge surges of COVID cases that we saw
in 2021, 2022, 2023 is that SARS-Coronavirus-2,
the virus that causes COVID, has kind of run
out of space to mutate. Now, that's not to say
that it won't mutate at some other point. That
doesn't mean that we might not have a sudden
surge of COVID sometime over the next few years.
maybe once we get to the 2030s, but 2026, I
am optimistic about COVID. I'm not optimistic
about the flu. I'm gonna be doing a 2026 forecast
sometime in January. Make sure you are following
me on Instagram and Blue Sky. I'll post it on
YouTube probably in like a post, I think I
can do, but I'm gonna be doing a 2026 forecast
where I'll be laying out my predictions and
themes for 2026. You should come. And that's
all I've got to say for today. Bye!
