Okay, my first criterion for refining the
definition of quality in
AI content and marketing is specificity.
Here's why AI slop is so easy to spot.
It's statistically average. It's the
median of everything the model has ever
seen,
which means by definition, it's generic.
No one deeply connects to or feels seen by
generic.
Quality AI, or better yet, using AI to
help deliver quality,
does the opposite. It gets more specific,
not less. Here's a simple test.
Could this have been made for anyone or
only for this one person,
this one book, this one moment?
We believe our own AI product,
the Playbook, exemplifies this premise.
The playbook is not a template with your
name or book's title dropped in.
It's built to deliver strategies and a
marketing plan that is specific
to an individual author's book,
audience, and goals. Each playbook
couldn't work for anyone else.
That specificity is part of why we think
it has quality.
So if genericness is the giveaway of low
quality AI,
specificity is the giveaway of high
quality AI.
