What is The Hot Dish?

Former U.S. Senator Heidi Heitkamp and her brother, KFGO radio talk show host Joel Heitkamp, engage in animated discussions with newsmakers, elected leaders, and policymakers who are creating new opportunities for rural Americans and finding practical solutions to their challenges. Punctuated with entertaining conversations and a healthy dose of sibling rivalry, The Hot Dish, from the One Country Project, is informative, enlightening, and downright fun.

Joel Heitkamp [00:00:00]:
Welcome to the Hot Dish, comfort food for Rural America. I'm Joel Heitkamp, hosting all by myself. Heidi is recovering today, so she left it to me. And I have some fun announcements today about the future of the Hot Dish. But first, remember guys, your thoughts and opinions matter to us. We're excited to be able to offer you timely interviews that always focus on our mission here at One Country Project, highlighting the impacts of decisions in Washington, D.C. on rural communities and people. So get excited to look at this handsome mug or just see that I'm a lot younger than Heidi because it'll be coming to you soon. And we have one more announcement for y'all.
