There's this guy who I thought was, you know, legit and he was not.

Edna Harding [00:02:33]:
He was obviously a scammer because he was asking for my WhatsApp number. I mean, who does that? Anyway, I'm getting sidetracked. But thank you. Thank you. Thank you. So today, we're gonna talk about all things business, God's way. Right? That's what I do. I talk about success in business and success in life.

Edna Harding [00:02:52]:
And lately, I've been focusing a lot more on business. I can understand, but it really does apply to life as well. And I haven't had a guest speaker. I have some amazing guests that are lined up for this summer. I just haven't had time to schedule, as many of you guys know, or maybe you don't. My eldest daughter is in, on summer vacation, for a couple weeks before she goes into summer camp, and so my time is very limited. But once I get back in a routine, I have a couple individuals already I know that have applied to be part of my podcast, and I think it's gonna it's going to bless you all. So I'm super excited about these two.

Edna Harding [00:03:35]:
Alright. So let me go ahead and start with a quick story, about this young woman. Her name is Liana, and she actually lived near the coast. She had a dream, and her dream was to build the most beautiful home. Have any of you guys ever wanted to live on the beach? Yes. Coming from Hawaii, like, that is one of my dreams is to have, like, a beach house, you know, that has a pool. I mean, like, close just a nice view of the ocean. I would love to have that.

Edna Harding [00:04:10]:
And she had this dream, like, back to the story, and she wanted people to admire it and and stop and be like, wow. That's amazing. So every morning, what she would do is she would gather wood. She would hammered nails and work from sunrise to sunset and really, like, work on her house, determined to build, like, something, like, immaculate. Like, just like, wow. Something's gonna take your breath away. But Liana, she didn't stop working. She thought that she would lose time, that even for a day, people are gonna forget about her house, that it just wasn't gonna be ready enough, you know, especially for the summer, because he knew she knew that people were gonna drive by that street.

Edna Harding [00:05:01]:
So, anyway, to make that long story short, she built really fast, and she she made it more taller and just just more elaborate and just truly went all in. She even had, like, some gold trim on the house, had some awesome beautiful carvings. Just hoping to prove that she's worthy of recognition. Like, her house, she wanted to keep up with the Joneses. Put it that way. Right? So so she was really doing everything she can to make it all beautiful and fancy. Well, one day there was this old woman who walked by and watched her from the shore. And this old woman comes to her and said, child, your house I'm gonna try to sound like an ode man.

Edna Harding [00:05:59]:
Child, your house is impressive, but it's actually standing on sand. One storm, and it will all come down. Well, Liana, she brushed her off. She said, I don't have time to rebuild. I have to keep going. And guess what? When the storms came, the waves rose, the winds howled, the sand shifted. And in one night, everything Leonach built collapsed into the sea. So, obviously, she was heartbroken.

Edna Harding [00:06:45]:
The old woman returned gently touches her hand and said, this is love unchanging and eternal build here. It was a stone that she gave to her. And Liana had that stone in her hand, and she was like, wow. This is very interesting. It was a it was a profound statement because for her, she's like, build from love. Build from love. Like, what does that mean? And it dawned on her as she just sat there. When you build from love, you don't have to prove anything.

Edna Harding [00:07:41]:
You simply build and that foundation holds. See family. That's exactly what God whispered to me last week. K. You need to build your business on love that it doesn't have to be bigger, faster, bolder, flashier. It doesn't have to be all of that. You're already loved by God, and you could actually keep it simple and less fancy because let me ask you, why are you buying all these fancy website? Why are you buying all these fancy tools? Like, why are you trying you're, like, investing so much? And it's okay. Yes.

Edna Harding [00:08:29]:
You wanna represent excellence. But what God really cares about, especially if he called you to solve people's problems, is impact. He cares about, are you helping the people he called you to? So I'm a big, like, advocate. And even though if you look at all my stuff, I do have a lot of fancy stuff, but it's because I've like, when I started just put it this way. When I started, I didn't have all the fancy stuff. I was very, very simple. A lot of my contracts was in Word doc that turned into PDF that manually people had to sign and turn into me. I didn't have, like, electronic signature.

Edna Harding [00:09:13]:
I didn't have, like, all these fancy things that I had. I started with what I got, built my business little by little. And as I was faithful with little, he gave me new technology, new tools, new resources. Like, if you guys look at all my stuff and mind you, I'm really proud of my things. And trust me, I work so hard to get it to look in the way it looks from my Etsy shop, to my workbooks, to my website, to my online program, to all of my just everything that I provide for my clients. That was a lot of work, and it was a lot of time. But it wasn't to impress people. It was because at that time, I was like, okay.

Edna Harding [00:10:03]:
Now I have the funds. Let me go ahead and make this pretty. Does that make sense? Like, I think a lot of people and I hope you hear me, and I'm going off of, like, my spirit now because I'm I have my notes in front of me, but, like, this is not where I was supposed to go, but this is where the holy spirit wants to go. When you when you first start out, a lot of times people are like, well, let me let me do it this way and this way and this way to keep up with this person, to keep up with that person or to compete with this person. When in reality, what the Lord wants is obedience. Number one, he wants to be like, I gave you this vision. I gave you this idea. Go ahead and build something with what you got.

Edna Harding [00:10:51]:
Use your hands. Right? Create something. Obviously, you wanna put some thought into it. You don't wanna just put a bunch of junk and try to sell it. Like, obviously, like, I this is kinda like thank you, Holy Spirit. This is kinda like where I say make your paper airplane version before you go into the rocket version because, you just need some sort of, like, fees simple tool or simple solution or simple resource and build that and see what you could do with that. Then once you start seeing results for clients, then and thank God. Thank you, Holy Spirit.

Edna Harding [00:11:29]:
So I'm reminded of, like, the first few clients that I have. Right? And mind you, at that time, I was just starting out. I was basically taking my corporate experience from growing businesses globally and teaching it to startups, right, or small businesses. They weren't all startups. Thank you, Holy Spirit. They were struggling businesses, small businesses. And it was a lot of lessons learned because there's a lot of things that apply to corporations and big companies that my people that I was helping weren't there yet. And so I had to learn a lot of new skills.

Edna Harding [00:12:08]:
And as I got certified in so many other things because I'm like, the solutions that I'm bringing to these people isn't going to say so let me get let me give an example. Because I know, like, I'm trying to think for you guys, like, on the other side, like like, what do you mean? Okay. So when they first started with me, a lot of times it's because help me grow my business, help me improve my sales, help me improve my marketing. Right? But the problem was you can't sell a crappy product. Right? So if the product didn't produce results, even if you have the best sales and marketing strategies, it's not going to work. And so I had to start from scratch and be like, okay, let's back off back up first and let's work on your offer. Let's work on your product, your deliver, your delivery. Let's work on like, that aspect first, the operational side.

Edna Harding [00:13:04]:
And thank God because of my experience in operations and supply chain logistics, I did that for five years before I went to say, I knew, like, what it would take to be organized. In fact, I was a global implementation project manager. I managed like complex projects up to 30 projects at a time with like a hundred stakeholders, almost a hundred stakeholders in every project. I'm very organized. I'm very structured. And a lot of the people that I was working didn't have the structure. So I'm like, okay. Number one, I need to make sure that their idea is great.

Edna Harding [00:13:39]:
And it and it could it's a proof of concept. It's gonna provide results. Because some of the ideas I'm like, I wouldn't even buy that. You know? I mean, no offense if you guys are my previous customers before. And so we had to really work on making their offer and making their product really, like, attractive to the target audience. Then number two, we need to create systems in place so that when a client or prospects interacts with them and purchase the product, they're able to deliver the product or service in excellence. Right? So, like like, I could let let me just give you an example. So when I was selling logistics or any other actually, I sold a lot of other things.

Edna Harding [00:14:26]:
I sold IT solutions. I'll so I sold engineered systems. I sold, safety systems. I sold what else did I sell? Financial services. I've sold a lot of different things. Okay? And it's pretty much all the same thing. The challenge was, like, I was a really good marketer. I was a really good salesperson, but then when it came to the product, when some when my I I like, for example, I would bring in a multimillion dollar client.

Edna Harding [00:14:59]:
And then when it's time for delivery, they truly like, they mess things up. Like the operations couldn't deliver. And then I ended up, you know, apologizing to my client because, you know, first impression is everything. And although they stayed with me because of the relationship, I feel really crappy because I'm like, here I am telling this client about how amazing, you know, my product and service is and then operations as in deliver it, which is why, like I said, a lot of times people think it's just sales and marketing, but sometimes it could be your offer. It could be your product itself. It could be your delivery. Right? The I so there's so many different things. Okay.

Edna Harding [00:15:35]:
So my point is when you build from love back to the original point of the podcast, when you're building and you're doing it out of love for your clients and God's love for you knowing that, knowing that, okay, God already loves you. You don't need to impress anybody. Just get the solution done, give them what they need. Okay. And I know let me just put a disclaimer here because I know all the marketing gurus are teaching, sell them what they want, then sell them what they want, not what they need. I have a tough time, and I know I'm trying to embrace that. I'm trying to be like, okay, these are all the multimillion dollar, multibillion dollar gurus. They're saying that sell them what they want, not what they need.

Edna Harding [00:16:25]:
And and to me, it's kinda misleading. And I understand the reason why they do that is because the psych the psychology of the human being is that they buy off of emotions. Some people buy off off of logic, but that's second. First is emotions. And so what marketers typically do is they tend to paint a picture and get you in the dopamine, space where you're, like, so excited about something that you're not even thinking rationally, that you don't even care what if they sell you a trash can, you'll buy the trash can because you feel that good. And this is what a lot of these advertisers and marketers do. And so from my, from my perspective, that is not loving your customers. That is manipulating your customers to buy something that they may not even need.

Edna Harding [00:17:28]:
Okay. Or, or is, or isn't, they're not, they're buying something like that that thing not even me thinking holy spirit. Not that need. It's like a Band Aid fix to their problem. It won't solve their problem. Right? I can I I'm reminded of this, my old boss from one of my companies I used to sell for, and he said I remember I told him, I was like because they I was supposed to close a multimillion dollar deal? And after I found out that their their problem for the other company was, like freight that was always getting broken in transition. And I knew that was a problem, and I knew that was a common problem for us. Like, my company, I didn't wanna sell it.

Edna Harding [00:18:16]:
And I told the customer, you're better off hiring this person instead of us because we're we're not we're not we don't have that type of white glove service. So I tell my boss this. My boss is like, Edna, are you crazy? You walked away from business. I was like, I am not going to sell them something that they are not that's that is gonna cause the same problems as your old ones. Okay? And and my boss couldn't understand, like, are you nuts? Like, why would you walk away from business? I said, because my soul, my integrity, my my spirit will not let me my conscience will not let me sell something that isn't going to produce the result they want. Right? Not think only spirit, not want, but need. They might want it. They might think they want my stuff, but in reality, because I know this the SWOT analysis of my company and the product.

Edna Harding [00:19:15]:
So typically, one of the things that's on my classes to do a SWOT analysis, not just of your product and services, but the people behind yours, you know, your business. So I knew that based on what they're looking for and what they need in order for them to have a successful, project, we couldn't provide. So tell me, my friends, isn't that the opposite of what the world teaches? The world teaches you sell, sell, sell, and figure it out later. That's what they teach you. I'm telling you that based on what the word of God says, and I'm not even in I'm still in the introduction, guys. So I hope I make this a two part two part episode. So I apologize, but I I really think this is blessing you. I I feel it by way of the spirit.

Edna Harding [00:20:02]:
So when when you when you have a a people focus, a people centered versus a self centered or it's all about me and my pocket, you you sell differently. You market differently. You really discern and you ask the holy spirit. Okay, god. These people need this. Can I really deliver this? Right? I could tell them, oh, yeah. We could do that. Absolutely.

Edna Harding [00:20:34]:
Absolutely. Yeah. I could totally do that. We'll figure it out later. Yeah. I don't think that's like fibs, whether if it's big or small, I don't think it's right because you're feeding off of their pain. Like, your customer is literally telling you, I'm having issues with this particular thing. This is a pain that my company is feeling, and it's affecting this, this, and this, and you're selling them something that's not gonna fix those things only because you want their money, that's not loving them.

Edna Harding [00:21:13]:
Right? So there's two aspects I wanna start off with. Number one, build your business based on the fact that you don't have to prove anything. Just provide the solution, keep it simple, get a proof of concept, and as you provide solutions, make it pretty. Right? The second thing is you love others. You love the people that you're serving, and you only sell them what they need, not what they want. And I know. I know. But, like, Edna, there's no proof that you're worried about your work.

Edna Harding [00:21:43]:
I get it. I wish I had proof. You know? Actually, I do have proof because I've done it myself. Now I wish there were more people who had more proof, and I'm sure there are. And if you are out there, please message me. Send me your testimony so I can prove it to everybody that it actually works. And I get it, guys. Doing it the world's way will get you quicker wins, and you'll probably be filthy rich doing it the world's way.

Edna Harding [00:22:08]:
But at the cost of what? At the cost of what? Especially if you're a Christian. K? At the cost of your witness, at the cost of your testimony, at the cost of, like, hurting the savior who died on a cross for our sins so we could transform the world. Like, it's it dumbfound me. But then again and I'm not trying to be righteous or religious here. I I just don't I don't get it. I don't get it. Now I do know that there are some of you guys who are willing to pay the price, knowing that remember my friends, God always rewards the righteous. It might not be in that particular season.

Edna Harding [00:22:52]:
It might be not not be the way that you want it to go or what you think it should go, but he will reward you. I can tell you that the father never forgets. He absolutely does not forget because Jesus is sitting on his right hand side, interceding on behalf of the saints. So if you're sticking up for truth, if you're doing the right thing for your customers, for your company, for your vendors, if you're doing the integrity thing, whether people see it or not, whether people appreciate or not, or whether you see the fruits of it or not, I promise you, he will reward you. Okay? Alright. So where are we at? Oh my gosh. It's twenty three minutes. Okay.

Edna Harding [00:23:35]:
Let me try to go through this really quickly. Okay? So let's back let's go back to Liana. Okay? So I was Liana before. I, was striving, proving, people pleasing. I remember remember those early days when overdelivering wasn't service, it was insecurity. I would be like, in order for me to, like for example, if I charge a rate and in their mind, they're like they feel like it's too expensive. I'm like, well, I'm gonna throw in this. I'm gonna throw in this and throw in this and throw in that versus saying, this is the right because I know I could produce this result.

Edna Harding [00:24:16]:
Instead, I'm like overextending myself, doing all these extra things for for customers to prove that I know my stuff. Right? But it wasn't over delivering. Right? As a service, it was I was insecure. And the problem that I see is the many Christian entrepreneurs unknowingly operate this way. They try to prove our worth to God or others. We associate success with divine approval. So if I'm successful in the world, that mean God's God approves of me. I want to just go ahead and dismantle that lie.

Edna Harding [00:24:51]:
A lot of times we think, okay. If I'm blessed, if I'm seeing the fruits of my labor, God approves of me. That's not true because the devil can bless you too, my friends. I wouldn't even call it bless. It's curse you. Okay? He'll give you things that is going to be detrimental to your soul. If not right now, maybe in eternity. Right.

Edna Harding [00:25:13]:
But what you don't understand is just because you're successful in the world's eyes doesn't mean you're successful in God's eyes. Two different things. God's definition of success and the world's definition of success is different. Right? And I, I want, I want to go into that topic, but that's not today because that's another whole episode that I can create. And if this is something you wanna talk about, please message me, email me. I don't have an entrepreneur email, but you could message me on my website, estrepreneur.com, or feel free to email me at hello@favorandwealth.com, which is my company. Alright. And then the third thing is that a lot of cushion entrepreneurs unknowingly do is they tie their value to the client results or revenue.

Edna Harding [00:26:03]:
The in their mind, they're thinking, I'm not valuable if my clients don't get the results or if my revenue isn't in in par, like a high high. Right? If not, for example, I think holy spirit. Like, I it's like so back to so back to my the only thing I can share is my story. So when the Lord told me to pivot from helping successful businesses who are making a lot of money and make more millions of dollars and telling me to pivot, to helping struggling businesses, my flesh was literally dying. I was like, how is this possible? How is this going to help me and my family? Like, I was like, this right here, especially if I was already struggling because of the scam, because of all the things. So I'm like, lord, I don't understand, but I obeyed. I obeyed. And and it's I struggled because I was thinking like, well, I'm not successful because my clients are broke.

Edna Harding [00:27:08]:
I'm broke. You know? Every like, I started saying all of these lies thinking like, okay. I don't have you know, I had debt. I have this, this, and that. I started just just just putting all these thoughts, and then the holy spirit put in my head, like, put in my not my head, but my spirit and my head and my heart. He said, who do you think is making more of an impact in my kingdom? You or so and so? I'm not gonna mention names. And I said, them because they're they're in my mind, I was thinking, they are they're tithing more. They're they're tithing big money, and they're supporting the gospel.

Edna Harding [00:27:48]:
And you know what the holy spirit told me? She said, my child, you are the gospel. The difference between me and the people who are successful that are, you know, only thinking about themselves and I tied, I give to the church. I do this. I I sing songs or I'm part of the prayer team. I'm actually doing kingdom work. I'm teaching these people that a lot of people rejected. A lot of people forgot that those who are struggling, I'm teaching them the father's love. And at the same time, I'm utilizing my gift to get them from a stuck place into an abundant place.

Edna Harding [00:28:31]:
Is it taking longer? Yes. Because there's a mindset thing. It's, you know, resource. There's a lot of different things, okay, that has to take place. K? And is it a harder journey? Absolutely. Sometimes I'm like, ugh. I could just go, you know, sell like like, remember, I'm a John Maxwell certified, consultant. You guys know this.

Edna Harding [00:28:53]:
Or I don't know if you do if you do or not. I'm supposed to be charging at least $50,000 at least for corporations. Okay? And am I ever going to do it? Probably at some point. But with the currencies that I'm at as a mom of young children, military wife, you know, I can't really, like, get settled yet because, obviously, that when you have those type of relationships or corporation, it's a long game. Right? So they need to see you in person. They don't wanna do virtual calls. They they need to end. And so long story short, I I had to accept the fact that just because I'm working with people who possibly can't it's not really paying me why no not paying me the value of the the transformation I'm giving, not because they don't want to, but because they can't.

Edna Harding [00:29:51]:
See, that's the difference. I remember I I forgot who I had this conversation before. One of my clients that I that hired me, gave the price point was a thousand dollars. And I forgot who who I was having conversation, but someone's like, that's it? I'm like, are you kidding me? A thousand dollars might be nothing to you. But to this person who only makes $24,000 a year, that's half their salary. Like, that's half a month of the like, you know what I mean? That's half a month. Right? Or you have people who spend $2,500 a year. Right? 2,500.

Edna Harding [00:30:32]:
But they are making less than that. Mind you, they have rent. They have all I mean, really think about this. K? So what I'm reminded of Jesus where Jesus said that the lady who gave a penny or forgot one coin gave more than the whoever it was religious folks who were giving more because they were giving based on what they have. Not not what, you know, like they don't even have it and they're still giving. So for me, even though whether if someone pays me a thousand dollars or 15,000 or 30,000, I have a client. Right? Like when you have those people, you know, who pays high or low, you don't treat them any differently. Like, again, it's it's based on the where they're at.

Edna Harding [00:31:18]:
And so I don't know why I went off of that tangent. Now I remember thinking holy spirit. So tying our value to our revenue, tying our value to results, when in reality, we can't control that because the results is based on what the healing of their soul. The scripture says that you will prosper just as your soul prospers. So especially if you're a wealth coach, a business coach, like they, even though you, again, even though you can give them the best strategies, the best is in the world, if they are not healed internally and they have challenges with their mind or will their emotions, they have trauma they haven't dealt with. They're not gonna see the increase yet. And I and mind you, I said yet. It's a process.

Edna Harding [00:32:07]:
The holy spirit has to work with it, but don't rush the anointing. Don't rush the process. Don't rush the healing. Okay? Because what happens is it's gonna be like what this lady did building on, of a sandy foundation. It won't last. The change won't last. It will be temporary. Right? And so, again, this is so important.

Edna Harding [00:32:34]:
So I want to read, the scripture, Jeremiah thirty one three. It says, I have loved you with an everlasting love. That means I want you to hear me. Before you ever had a client, before you launch that offer, before you hit your first thousand dollars or your $10,000 month, your first twenty thousand dollar month, whatever it is, he loved you. He loved you. Like one of my goals, and this is just to keep me accountable is to make a hundred thousand dollars in one month. That is my goal. Okay.

Edna Harding [00:33:07]:
But, but I'm not, I'm not tying my value to that outcome. You see, I know I'm loved. I know my identity. I know who I am regardless if I make a hundred thousand dollars a month. K? So so I'm saying all this to say that you have to build your business from that space that you are loved. And remember this, my friend, even if you don't make another sale for the rest of your life, he still will love you. He will always be there. He'll never forsake you, and he doesn't love you any less or love you anymore if you make other he loves you the same.

Edna Harding [00:33:49]:
And I'm telling you, when you build your business from that foundation, my goodness, my friend, you are going to be unstoppable. And everything that I just told you in, like, this last part took me many years to figure out. Many years. I actually shared this with my group mentoring call. Was it last Friday? That when I realized that my identity has nothing to do with my business, I and I stopped caring what people think, that's when my business started thriving, and that's when I started healing from my past trauma, my past failures, my past rejections. Right? I started healing from that. Okay. Well, my friends, I am here at thirty five minutes.

Edna Harding [00:34:35]:
This was only point one. I had how many points did I have? I had four points, and we don't have time to go over the first point, but I think this will be a good start. This is actually good because at least I have I know what I'm gonna be talking about next week. But I hope this quick short episode bless you. I hope it encouraged you, and I hope you tune in next time to the entrepreneur podcast. And, again, connect with me If you're interested in working with me on, a a regular basis, feel free to go to my website, favoritevault.com. I have several packages out there, whether if you're just starting out, if you're struggling, or if you're already thriving, we here's here's thank you, holy spirit. I'm gonna end with this because I get this all the time when I'm working with or speaking with people who wants to collaborate, and they're like, well, you're like one of the things that I found is whenever I say I wanna mix those who are struggling and those who are successful in one room, they it's a turnoff for people.

Edna Harding [00:35:49]:
They they don't like that. They don't they're like, no. I work with high caliber people. When you have but to me, it's like the Bible works. The ways of God works. The kingdom works regardless of financial stress, financial, status, your system, your ecosystem, regardless if you're affluent or you're poor. Look at Jesus. When you look at Jesus, what did he do? He ministered to all types of individuals from the riches of the rich, the Kings pilot, like royalty, like leaders, influential people, wealthy people to the poor, the beggars.

Edna Harding [00:36:33]:
And he didn't separate them to be like, okay. All the rich people go on the left. All of the poor people go on the right. I'm gonna talk a certain way to the right. I'm gonna talk a certain way to the left. No. That's not what Jesus did. Jesus was authentic.

Edna Harding [00:36:50]:
He's had an amazing message. He he had a solution for everybody regardless of the their economic or social status. And that's the same way with me. Those solutions that I have found from the Bible for business and life success applies to everyone. And so maybe I'm crazy for thinking that you could actually combine these groups and they can learn from each other. And I know I think you holy spirit. Oh, I can see all the the spirit of religion and and the the pride people thinking, like, I'm not gonna sit in a table with someone who's broke or I'm not gonna sit in the table with someone who's rich, who's all about themselves. This is the reason why the church is broken is because there's no unity.

Edna Harding [00:37:41]:
You know, I'm reminded of Paul in acts, I believe, where they took care of one another. They build each other up, and that's what I'm hoping for. I'm hoping for that one day, and I'm just gonna share this vision. One day, we're gonna have rooms, hotels, stadiums, restaurants, just filled with all types of believers, with all types of business owners, and that they they will not feel any less or better than the people next to them because they realize that they're all equal in the eyes of God. Because again, their identity has nothing to do with the successes they've received in the world, but their identity is rooted in the Lord. Jesus Christ, Man, how amazing would that be when the world sees, wow, that that the church, the church that I'm seeing, that church that are united, that they don't think they're better than another, or they don't think they're they're they're, you know, they're united. They're in the same purpose, which is to bring glory to Jesus in the marketplace. They're gonna start coming into our tribe.

Edna Harding [00:38:54]:
And when I say our tribe, we'll talk about you and I, because we're part of the kingdom of God. We're part of God's army, God's end time army because of the best believe we are in the last of the last days. Okay. I just had this conversation with, some close friends on our prayer call, but this is not a time for the believers to think about ourselves. This is a time when we have to come together and unite and truly make an impact in the marketplace by being bold about who we are and who we serve and use the opportunity that we have that was been given to us by the Lord Jesus Christ. Whether you have a company that has 5,000 employees, or you have a startup company, or you're knocking on doors and building relationships, one on one, whatever influence God gives you, you have to make the most of every opportunity because the harvest is plenty, but the laborers are few. I kid, I kid you not my friends ever since I've been get, got off sabbatical, I guess when the Lord told me, okay, you've been sitting on the bench too long. I need you to go back out there and speak truth and love.

Edna Harding [00:40:10]:
And I've been very vocal about Jesus Christ in the marketplace. I'm telling you my tribe, especially on LinkedIn, started finding me. And even those who are new Christians started finding me. They're like, we don't see people being bold about Jesus in my mind. And like, how am I like and to me, it's like, how am I the only person being bold about Jesus in business? And I mind you, I'm sure there's a lot out there, but it's it's it's the I'm just gonna say it because the Holy Spirit wants me to say it. We are you a Christian who's a business owner or a business owner who's a Christian? Let me say that again because I think this is going to set people free. Are you a Christian first before you're a business owner or you're a business owner before a Christian? What do I mean by that? If you care more about the the the the what do you call it? The reputation of your business, the look of your business, the profit of your business, more than Jesus Christ being glorified, you are a business owner. Who's a Christian, a Christian who is a business owner is Christ first, Christ first.

Edna Harding [00:41:20]:
And I'm not just talking about doing your devotionals. I'm talking about letting people know and mind you. I know there are let me, the holy spirit is like there. I know there are people out there who are be standing bold for Jesus. We're on the same team. Guys keep rocking, keep showing out. We're doing amazing. But to those of you guys who are hiding in a cave, not sharing the truth, not sharing the gospel, not sharing your walk with the Lord, even even, like, just having even having a Bible verse as your signature.

Edna Harding [00:41:54]:
Right? Like like, be bold. I mean, challenging you, my brothers and sisters in Christ. Like, I am I I'm just a 40 year old lady, right, who is just, sorry, sharing my walk, sharing my time with the Lord, like, the luggage and sharing with people around me through whatever. Sorry. When I if you heard that clap, that was there was a mosquito. I was like, what what is that? Sharing it to all the platforms that I have. And mind you, I have not been active in Instagram and YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, all that stuff, because to me, it's just way too much work. But I feel like the Lord's like, just use whatever content LinkedIn posted there.

Edna Harding [00:42:39]:
So I'm gonna figure that out. I just have a lot on my plate. I'm venting now, so I'm gonna get back on track. So, anyway, I hope that blessed you, my friend. I don't even know what I said last, but please, please, please, if you love this kind of stuff, like I don't not like. Was it called subscribe? Leave a rating. Share it with your friends and family. Edna Harding [00:43:03]:
Share it to your your your company. If you have a company, share it with your friends, your sisters, your brothers. I need you all to share this message because I truly believe that people are looking for answers. And I know that the answers are in God's word. Edna Harding [00:43:50]:
And so, anyways, my friends, I thank you guys for for tuning in, for allowing me to share my heart with you, and I'm just gonna pray real quickly for you guys. So father, thank you for your everlasting, unfailing love. Thank you, Lord Jesus, that you are so good and that you're so kind and that you don't want to leave us stranded. So you sent the holy spirit to convict us, to guide us, to lead us, to transform us, to be more like you. Remind us that we don't have to perform to earn it, help us Lord to lead, to serve and build from that truth, which is your unfailing love that we are loved. And because we are loved, we can love others. Lord, let our businesses become altars that reflect your heart. And I ask this in the mighty name of Jesus.

Edna Harding [00:44:52]:
Amen. I want to end with this final thought. My friends, remember, you're not building a business to earn God's love. You're building a business because you, my friend already have it. Well, until next time, keep shining. Blessings, my friend, and I'll see you guys on the next one. Take care. Thanks for joining us this week on Estrepeneur.
