Robby: You're listening to the Brand
ED Bullet from the Brand ED Podcast.

Four freaky fast Friday wins to
get you going for your weekend.

Let's go.

Win number one, something to try.

You sent out that proposal a few days
ago, but then you got busy on some other

projects and you forgot to check back in.

Keeping track of leads and proposals
and contracts and projects.

Oh my.

If you're a solo preneur,
you feel that pain.

Perhaps like me, you've gotten
to a point where there's just too

many plates that are spinning.

And you don't even realize
that you're dropping the ball.

I want you to take a look at Bigin.

B I G I N it's a play on the word
beginning, but it's a new CRM or customer

relationship manager for small businesses.

I want you to think Trello on steroids.

Bigin lets you set up your
pipeline steps from leads to sales.

Then you can drag and drop to track
where each of your customers and

clients are in the sales process.

Bigin comes packed with some time saving
features like built in telephony and email

to keep the sales conversation going.

There's automation, workflows.

So you can reduce the repetitive
steps you have to take like follow

up emails and there's a mobile
app to keep selling on the go.

I want you to go take it for a spin.

There's a free account.

I'll put a link in the
show notes to Bigin.

Now the fuller CRM that goes
with that is Zoho CRM actually

use Zoho for my bookkeeping.

But I'll put a link in there so
you can see the differences between

began and the fuller Zoho CRM.

I'd love to know from you.

What do you use when you need
help managing your customers?

Win number two, something
a client recently asked.

Check out last week's episode,
episode 1 0 8 for the first part

of this question from a client.

Here's a quick recap.

So a client approached me and asked
for help for generating more leads.

As we dug deeper, I helped my client.

See, this is really what was going on.

I want more leads because.

I want more sales and I want more
sales because I want more revenue

and I want more revenue because
ultimately I want more profit.

Then we did an exercise.

I call Revy R E V.

I.

Here's what that stands for.

R E reverse engineer.

What's already working.

In other words, where are the
leads coming from right now?

What's already working.

And then Revy VI volume increase.

What are the one to three ways to turn
up the volume on the marketing channel?

That's already we're working.

So you're going to reverse engineer.

What's already working.

And then you're going to ask the question.

How do I just turn the volume
up on what's already working.

So rather than add another
marketing channel, another

tactic, build another funnel.

Create another lead generator.

Don't do those things to grab more leads.

First reverse engineer what's already
working and simply turn the volume up.

Once you've done that to full capacity,
then you can look at expanding into

different channels, more tactics, another
funnel, or perhaps another lead generator.

What's the biggest challenge for
you when it comes to generating

more leads for your business?

Email me back and let me know.

Win number three,
something to think about.

It's easy to get caught up in
the chase of your dream life.

And that's very motivating.

But I want you to think about
this making now a nightmare and

pursuit of your future dream is not
a requirement for your business.

I invite you to consider this, make
rest a part of your personal brand

business or solo preneur journey.

Not the destination.

So I'm all for working hard, But the
harder you work, the more rest is

required to give your best to your
business, to your family, to your

friends, to those important relationships.

So don't postpone rest for
later on when the dream hits.

Every night as a reminder,
we're not invincible and the

world continues on without us.

And it holds together just
fine while we're sleeping.

We need rest.

How do you incorporate rest as a
part of your solopreneur journey?

I'd love your advice or your tips.

Email me yours.

Win number four, something personal.

A while back, we had to
put our sweet dog down.

His name was Cosmo.

And he brought so much love and joy to
our family for 12 golden doodle years.

And we would not have the current dog.

We've got a second dog and she is amazing.

She's a golden doodle as well.

Her name is Cali, but
we wouldn't have Cali.

If we didn't first have Cosmo.

He's the first family pet we ever had.

And it's because my middle son called a
family meeting and said, dad, I know we've

never had a pet, but we need to get a pet.

And so when we put him down, we had a
group message that went around, that was

filled with memories and fun pictures.

A few of mine included hiding, go
seek I'd play hide, and go seek.

With Cosmo and he'd come find me
hiding in the back of the house

and we do that over and over again.

And he have it.

He'd have so much fun doing that.

And we had a deal when I would
make peanut butter toast.

He would always smell it.

And he always would get
the last bite of toast.

He'd smell me making it before I could
even really crack the peanut butter jar.

And there he'd be, cause
he knew our agreement.

While the rest of the family
would conveniently ignore me

during work in the backyard.

When I was out there working Cosmo would
always be out in the backyard by my side.

Every single time.

As I mentioned above don't wait
until you make it to enjoy life.

Enjoy these moments, enjoy, hide, and
go seek with your dog or with your kids.

Enjoy a great meal together, whether
it's a peanut butter toast or something

more extravagant and hang out with each
other, be present with each other, Even

if it's in the backyard doing yard work.
