What is Gospel Portions?

Reminders of the gospel that was preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, that you may hold fast to the word preached to you.

Ryan Bush:

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake, he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9.

To accept Christ's righteousness alone, his blood alone for salvation, That is the sum of the gospel. When the soul in all duties and distresses can say nothing but Christ. Christ alone for righteousness, justification, sanctification, redemption. Not humblings nor duties nor graces that I have gotten above the reach of the billows. Thomas Wilcox.
